Day 1: Guiyang – Matang Gejia Village – Xijiang Miao Village (Lunch)
In the morning, your private guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Guiyang and drive to Kaili, the cultural center of southeastern Guizhou.
Your first stop is Matang Gejia Village, a traditional settlement of the Gejia people, an ethnic community closely associated with the Miao cultural traditions of Guizhou. Here, you can learn about their distinctive customs, traditional clothing, handicrafts and folk culture.
Depending on local arrangements, you may have the opportunity to enjoy traditional Lusheng music and dance, folk songs and welcoming performances. The Gejia people are also well known for their intricate wax printing and embroidery. Take some time to admire the detailed patterns and craftsmanship created by local Gejia women.
After lunch, continue to Xijiang Miao Village, one of the largest and most famous Miao communities in China. The village stretches across the surrounding hills and consists of a number of smaller settlements connected by winding lanes.
Walk through the village to see traditional wooden houses built along the hillsides, with the Baishui River flowing through the valley below. Xijiang is an excellent place to discover Miao architecture, traditional clothing, silver ornaments, handicrafts, festivals and everyday life.
In the evening, enjoy the spectacular night scenery as lights gradually illuminate the wooden houses across the hillsides.

Day 2: Xijiang – Jidao Miao Village – Upper Langde Miao Village – Libo (Lunch)
After breakfast, leave Xijiang and visit two traditional Miao villages near Kaili: Jidao and Upper Langde.
First, visit Jidao Miao Village, known for its peaceful rural atmosphere and traditional Miao heritage. Walk along the old village paths and discover traditional granaries, ancient trees, wooden houses and local cultural sites. The village offers an opportunity to experience a quieter side of Miao life away from the larger tourist areas.
Continue to Upper Langde Miao Village, another well-preserved Miao settlement surrounded by green mountains. The village is known for its traditional wooden stilt houses, stone-paved lanes and vibrant folk culture.
Depending on local arrangements, you may experience traditional Miao songs and dances and a welcoming ceremony featuring “blocking-the-way wine,” a local custom used to greet visitors. You can also take a leisurely walk through the village courtyards and explore the traditional architecture.
After the visit, continue by private vehicle to Libo, one of Guizhou’s most scenic destinations and an excellent base for exploring the region’s spectacular karst landscapes.

Day 3: Libo – Xiaoqikong Scenic Area – Guiyang (Lunch)
After breakfast, visit Xiaoqikong Scenic Area, one of the highlights of Libo’s karst landscape.
The scenic area combines clear streams, emerald-colored pools, waterfalls, forests, caves and limestone formations in a compact mountain landscape. Walk along the scenic paths and enjoy highlights such as Xiangshui River Waterfall, ancient trees, natural pools and picturesque waterways.
The combination of clear water and lush forest creates a peaceful atmosphere and makes Xiaoqikong one of the most attractive natural areas in southern Guizhou.
After lunch and sightseeing, your private guide and driver will drive you back to Guiyang.
Your 3-day Guizhou Miao culture and Libo nature tour ends upon arrival at your hotel in Guiyang.
