Day 1: Huangguoshu Waterfall – Dragon Palace Lunch
After breakfast, your private guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Guiyang and drive approximately 2.5 hours to Anshun for a full day of sightseeing.
Your first stop is Huangguoshu Waterfall, one of the most spectacular waterfalls in China and the highlight of the Huangguoshu Scenic Area. Surrounded by lush mountains and a network of streams and smaller waterfalls, the area offers several viewpoints from which to appreciate the power and beauty of the waterfall.
One of the most memorable experiences is walking along the paths behind the waterfall. From the Water-Curtain Cave, you can enjoy a unique perspective of the cascading water and feel the mist rising from the falls. When the sunlight passes through the spray, a rainbow may appear above the waterfall, adding to the scenery.
After lunch, continue to Dragon Palace, a fascinating karst landscape known for its underground caves, lakes, waterfalls and unusual limestone formations.
Take a boat ride through the scenic area and explore the spectacular combination of underground waterways and karst formations. Clear water flows through the caves, while stalactites, stalagmites and stone columns create dramatic shapes along the underground chambers. The interplay of water, rock formations and cave scenery gives Dragon Palace its distinctive character.
After exploring Dragon Palace, return to Guiyang in the late afternoon. Your private guide and driver will accompany you back to your hotel.
