Day 1: Qingyan Ancient Town – Huaxi Park (Lunch)
Your private guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Guiyang in the morning and take you to Qingyan Ancient Town, located about 30 km south of the city.
With a history dating back to the Ming Dynasty, Qingyan is one of the best-preserved ancient towns in Guizhou. Although compact in size, the town is filled with historic buildings, old residences, temples, stone lanes and cultural sites that reflect its long history and diverse local heritage.
Walk through the ancient streets and explore the town’s traditional architecture. You will see sections of the original stone city walls built along the surrounding hills, as well as old gates, courtyards and historic buildings. The combination of mountain scenery and centuries-old architecture gives Qingyan a distinctive atmosphere.
After lunch, continue to Huaxi Park, also known as Flower Stream Park. Located in a scenic area south of Guiyang, the park is famous for its clear streams, green hills, gardens and peaceful natural surroundings. It is often regarded as one of Guiyang’s favorite recreational areas and is an ideal place to take a relaxing walk after exploring the ancient town.
Unlike many landscaped urban parks, Huaxi features a natural landscape of streams, hills, trees and open spaces. Depending on the season, you can enjoy different scenery as flowers bloom, streams flow through the valley and the surrounding hills turn green.
After sightseeing, transfer to Anshun or Zhenning for your overnight stay, depending on the arrangement of your tour.

Day 2: Huangguoshu Waterfall – Dragon Palace (Lunch)
After breakfast, drive to the Huangguoshu Scenic Area, home to Huangguoshu Waterfall, one of the most spectacular waterfalls in China.
Spend the morning exploring the waterfall and its surrounding scenic area. Huangguoshu is surrounded by lush mountains, streams and a series of smaller waterfalls, offering several different viewpoints. One of the highlights is the Water-Curtain Cave, where you can walk behind the falling water and experience the dramatic scenery from a unique perspective.
The waterfall is particularly impressive when the water volume is high. On sunny days, sunlight passing through the spray can sometimes create beautiful rainbows above the waterfall.
After lunch, continue to Dragon Palace, a fascinating karst scenic area known for its underground caves, lakes, waterfalls and distinctive limestone formations.
Take a boat ride through the scenic area and admire the unusual combination of underground rivers, caves, stalactites and stalagmites. Water flows through the karst formations, creating a landscape that has earned Dragon Palace its evocative name.
The combination of clear water, dramatic limestone formations and illuminated cave chambers creates a memorable underground landscape and offers a different perspective on the karst scenery for which Guizhou is famous.
After the visit, your 2-day Guizhou tour comes to an end.
