Day 1: Guiyang City Tour – Jiaxiu Pavilion – Qingyan Ancient Town (Lunch)
In the morning, your private guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Guiyang and begin your city tour with a visit to Jiaxiu Pavilion, one of Guiyang’s most recognizable landmarks.
Standing on a large rock in the Nanming River, Jiaxiu Pavilion is a historic three-story pavilion surrounded by the river and traditional architecture. Built during the Ming Dynasty, it has long been an important cultural landmark of Guiyang. Take a leisurely walk around the pavilion and enjoy views of the river and the historic buildings nearby.
After lunch, drive to Qingyan Ancient Town, one of the four best-known ancient towns in Guizhou. Founded during the Ming Dynasty, Qingyan developed as an important military stronghold and later became a prosperous historic town.
Walk through its old stone lanes and explore traditional temples, residences, gates and pavilions. The town retains many historic buildings dating from the Ming and Qing dynasties, showcasing traditional architecture and the cultural heritage of southern Guizhou.

Day 2: Huangguoshu Waterfall – Dragon Palace – Guiyang (Lunch)
After breakfast, travel to Huangguoshu Waterfall, one of China’s most famous natural landmarks and the centerpiece of the Huangguoshu Scenic Area.
Explore the waterfall from several viewpoints and enjoy the spectacular combination of cascading water, limestone mountains, lush vegetation and surrounding streams. One of the highlights is the Water-Curtain Cave, where you can walk behind the waterfall and experience the rushing water and refreshing mist from a unique perspective.
Huangguoshu is a classic example of a large waterfall formed within Guizhou’s distinctive karst landscape. When the weather is clear, sunlight shining through the spray may create a beautiful rainbow above the falls.
After lunch, continue to Dragon Palace, a fascinating karst scenic area known for its underground waterways, caves, lakes and waterfalls.
Take a boat ride through the scenic area and discover the remarkable combination of water and limestone formations. Inside the caves, stalactites, stalagmites and other karst formations create dramatic underground scenery, while clear water flows through the cave system.
Dragon Palace offers a different perspective on Guizhou’s karst landscape and is an excellent complement to the waterfall scenery experienced earlier in the day.
After the visit, drive back to Guiyang. Your 2-day Guiyang and Anshun tour ends upon arrival at your hotel in Guiyang.
