Day 1: Guiyang – Anshun – Huangguoshu Waterfall (128 km, 1.5–2 hours) (Lunch)
In the morning, your private guide and driver will pick you up in Guiyang and drive to Anshun to visit the spectacular Huangguoshu Waterfall, one of the most famous waterfalls in China and the centerpiece of the Huangguoshu Scenic Area.
Upon arrival, explore the scenic area and enjoy different viewpoints of the waterfall. Huangguoshu is especially impressive during the rainy season, when the water plunges over the limestone cliff with tremendous force. On a sunny day, you may even see a colorful rainbow forming in the mist, creating a beautiful contrast against the surrounding mountains and greenery.
The waterfall has also been celebrated in Chinese literature. During the Ming Dynasty, the renowned Chinese geographer and traveler Xu Xiake visited the area and described the thunderous sound and spectacular power of the waterfall.
After visiting Huangguoshu Waterfall, continue to Doupotang Waterfall, another scenic highlight in the area. Then visit Tianxingqiao Scenic Area, known for its combination of karst mountains, forests, caves, streams and waterfalls. The landscape has also appeared in the classic Chinese television series Journey to the West.
After sightseeing, transfer to your hotel in Anshun for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Anshun – Zhijin – Guiyang (177 km, about 2 hours) (Lunch)
After breakfast, your guide and driver will take you from Anshun to Zhijin to visit the spectacular Zhijin Cave, one of Guizhou’s most remarkable karst attractions.
Zhijin Cave is renowned for its extensive underground karst landscape and impressive variety of formations. Inside the vast cavern, you will discover towering stalagmites, stone columns, stone flowers and other unusual formations shaped over thousands of years. With its enormous chambers and dramatic rock formations, the cave resembles a magnificent underground palace.
Take your time exploring the cave and enjoying its fascinating combination of geological formations, natural halls and underground scenery. The visit offers a different perspective on Guizhou’s distinctive karst landscape, complementing the waterfalls and mountain scenery experienced on the first day.
In the afternoon, leave Zhijin and drive back to Guiyang.
Your 2-day Guizhou nature tour ends upon arrival in Guiyang.
