D1 Arrival in Chongqing
Welcome to Chongqing, one of the largest and most fascinating cities in Southwest China. Upon arrival, your guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.
Known as a “mountain city” built along the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers, Chongqing is famous for its spectacular urban landscape, unique transportation system, vibrant culture, and delicious cuisine.
After check-in, you can explore the city at your own pace. Recommended places include Liziba Metro Station, where the light rail passes through a residential building, Chaotianmen Dock, the meeting point of the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers, and Hongyadong, the city’s most famous illuminated riverside landmark.

D2 Chongqing / Wulong National Geopark
Distance: About 195 km | Driving: Approx. 3 hours
After breakfast, drive about 3 hours from Chongqing to Wulong National Geopark, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site famous for its spectacular karst landscapes.
In the afternoon, visit the magnificent Furong Cave, one of the most impressive karst caves in China. With its enormous underground chambers, crystal-clear formations, and colorful stalactites, Furong Cave is considered one of the finest examples of karst cave landscapes in the world.
After exploration, continue to Fairy Mountain Town (Xiannv Town) for overnight.
D3 Wulong / Fengdu
Distance: About 92 km | Driving: Approx. 2 hours
Today’s Wulong adventure begins with the spectacular Three Natural Bridges (Tiansheng Three Bridges), one of the most iconic attractions in Wulong Karst.
Hidden deep within the mountains, these giant natural stone bridges form a massive sinkhole-like valley landscape. You will walk down into the valley, passing beneath the towering bridges and enjoying the dramatic scenery created by millions of years of geological evolution.
In the afternoon, continue to the Longshuixia Fissure Gorge, also known as the “Great Crack of the Earth.” Formed by ancient geological movements and possible seismic activity, this impressive canyon reaches nearly 1,000 meters deep and extends for about 2 kilometers.
Later in the afternoon, drive about 2 hours to Fengdu County, located along the Yangtze River. Enjoy your evening exploring this mysterious riverside town.

D4 Fengdu / Yunyang
Distance: About 212 km | Driving: Approx. 2.5 hours
In the morning, visit Fengdu Ghost City, a unique cultural attraction inspired by traditional Chinese mythology. Although often called the “City of Ghosts,” it is not a frightening place, but rather an important historical and cultural site showcasing ancient beliefs about the afterlife.
After the visit, drive approximately 2.5 hours to Yunyang County.
In the afternoon, visit Zhangfei Temple, a historic temple located on the bank of the Yangtze River. Built to commemorate the legendary general Zhang Fei from the Three Kingdoms period, the temple is also an excellent viewpoint to admire the wide Yangtze River scenery.

D5 Yunyang / Fengjie / Wushan
Distance: About 135 km | Driving: Approx. 2 hours
In the morning, drive about 1 hour to Fengjie County and visit the historic White Emperor Town (Baidi City), a famous cultural site with a history of more than 2,000 years.
From here, enjoy the spectacular view of Kuimen Gate, the entrance of Qutang Gorge and one of the most famous landscapes along the Yangtze River Three Gorges.
In the afternoon, visit the Three Gorges Summit, located high above the Yangtze River valley. Walking along the glass viewing platforms, you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the mountains, river, and gorges below.
You will also take a short Yangtze River cruise through Qutang Gorge, experiencing the dramatic scenery of the first section of the Three Gorges.
Later, drive about 1 hour to Wushan County.

D6 Wushan / Chongqing
Yangtze River Cruise & Little Three Gorges Exploration
In the morning, head to the Yangtze River pier and take a boat to explore the beautiful Little Three Gorges.
During the cruise, admire the spectacular scenery of steep peaks, unusual rock formations, waterfalls, ancient hanging coffins, and the remains of historic plank roads along the cliffs. With luck, you may even hear the distant calls of wild monkeys echoing through the mountains.
After the cruise, travel to the mountain area and take a local electric vehicle to enter Goddess Sky Road Scenic Area (Shennu Tianlu).
Walk along the mountain plank roads and viewing platforms, including Sky Lamp Platform, Fairy Yao Platform, and Feiyuntai, where you can enjoy magnificent views of Goddess Peak across the Yangtze River. The winding river flows through Wu Gorge like a jade ribbon surrounded by dramatic mountains.
In the late afternoon, take a high-speed train (about 2.5 hours) back to Chongqing.

Your Chongqing and Yangtze Three Gorges adventure comes to an end today. Your guide will transfer you to the airport or train station for your onward journey.
