Your Chongqing adventure begins this morning from your hotel or airport. Your guide will take you to Wulong, a beautiful mountainous county located about 186 km southeast of Chongqing.
Enjoy the scenic journey along the way, with views of mountains, rivers, and countryside landscapes. After approximately 3 hours of driving, you will arrive in Wulong.
Your Wulong exploration begins with the spectacular Furong Cave, one of the most impressive karst caves in China. Listed as part of the Wulong Karst World Natural Heritage Site, the cave features magnificent underground chambers decorated with colorful stalactites, stalagmites, and unique geological formations.
Later, continue to Fairy Mountain Town (Xiannv Town) for overnight.
In the evening, you can choose to watch “Impression Wulong”, a spectacular outdoor performance created by famous Chinese director Zhang Yimou. Through music, lights, and dance, the show tells stories about local Chongqing life, the Yangtze River culture, and the historical changes brought by the Three Gorges Dam project.

Today, continue exploring the wonders of Wulong Karst.
Your tour begins with the magnificent Three Natural Bridges (Tiansheng Three Bridges), one of the most iconic landscapes in Wulong. Hidden deep within the mountains, these giant natural stone bridges form a spectacular valley landscape. You will walk down into the valley, pass beneath the towering rock formations, and enjoy the unique scenery created by millions of years of geological evolution.
Afterward, visit the impressive Longshuixia Fissure Gorge, also known as the “Great Crack of the Earth.” Formed by ancient geological movements and possible seismic activity, this dramatic canyon reaches nearly 1,000 meters deep and stretches for about 2 kilometers.
The visit is also an exciting hiking experience, allowing you to walk through narrow valleys, steep cliffs, and beautiful natural surroundings.
Around 1:00 pm, complete your Wulong exploration and drive back to Chongqing.

D3 Chongqing / Dazu Rock Carvings / Chongqing Departure
Today, travel to Dazu Rock Carvings, located about 2 hours’ driving from Chongqing.
Dating back to the Tang and Song dynasties, the Dazu Rock Carvings represent one of the finest examples of ancient Chinese Buddhist art. In ancient China, carving Buddhist stories, religious beliefs, and local cultural themes into cliffs was an important artistic tradition.
Among the many carving sites in Dazu, the most famous are Baodingshan Rock Carvings and Beishan Rock Carvings. At Baodingshan, you will admire thousands of beautifully preserved statues and carvings featuring vivid expressions, delicate details, and remarkable artistic techniques.
In the afternoon, drive back to Chongqing and continue your city sightseeing.
Visit the People’s Great Hall of Chongqing, one of the city’s most iconic landmarks. Completed in 1954, the building was designed to commemorate China’s victory in the War of Resistance and the establishment of the new government. With its impressive traditional Chinese architectural style, it has been recognized as one of the top ten classic architectures of 20th-century Asia.
The final stop is Ciqikou Ancient Town, a historic neighborhood famous for its traditional buildings, old streets, local snacks, and folk culture. Originally known for porcelain production, Ciqikou offers a glimpse into the traditional lifestyle of old Chongqing.
After sightseeing, your guide will transfer you to the airport or Yangtze River cruise terminal for your onward journey.
