D1 Arrive in Zhangjiajie
Head to Zhangjiajie by direct flight or bullet train from Changsha today. Arrive in Zhangjiajie in the late afternoon, meet with your guide and transfer to hotel.
D2 Tianmenshan / Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan National Park
In the morning you will head to the Tianmenshan, where you will take the longest cable car in the world. It is amazing to enjoy the beautiful mountain under your cable car, sometimes even the cloudy sea. And today you will visit the Tianmen Cave, Tianmenshan Temple, Tianmenshan Square, etc. And trying walk on the glass trail built on the high peaks is also a challenge to you.
Descend the mountain by elevator in the afternoon, and then you will head to Zhangjiajie Wulinguan National Park and ascend Huangshizhai spot by cable car. It is said people have not visited Zhangjiajie really if he has not been to Huangshizhai. If weather allowed, you can enjoy the magic scene of peaks surrounded by smog.
D3 Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan National Park
In the morning head to Zhangjiajie National Park, also named as Wulingyuan Park. You will arrive at Bailong Sky Elevator, and ascend Yuanjiajie, where you will walk on the mountain trails to enjoy many beautiful peaks, including Avatar. And then you will head to Yangjiajie spot, continue to enjoy the beautiful peaks including the Peak Wall.
In the afternoon you will head to the Sky Garden, where is the magic garden built on the top of a high peak. And then you will continue to Tianzhishan, where you will enjoy some smaller peaks. You will descend the mountain by cable car and then head to Ten Miles Picturesque Corridor, which is a beautiful valley at the feet of the peaks. Taking a one way small train riding and hiking back would be interesting.
At last you will back to your hotel for rest.
D5 Zhangjiajie / Fenghuang Driving 265km, 4 hours
In the morning head to Fenghuang in 4 hours’ driving. And drop a tour in Furong town en route, where you will enjoy the Tujia people’s folklore there. Arrive in in Fenghuang in the afternoon, and free to explore the old town of Fenghuang enjoy its beautiful night. And make a river cruise in Tuojiang river to enjoy the beautiful buildings along the river.
D6 Fenghuang Departure
In the morning continue visit Fenghuang, you will explore the South China Great Wall.
In the back Zhangjiajie city for fligh or bullet train to Changshan / Guilin to transfer to other destination.
Head to Zhangjiajie by direct flight or bullet train from Changsha today. Arrive in Zhangjiajie in the late afternoon, meet with your guide and transfer to hotel.
