Baisha White Sand Lake
Baisha Lake (White Sand Lake 白沙湖) and White Sand Mountain are among the most breathtaking natural attractions in Akto County, Kizilsu Kirgiz Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Baisha Lake – The White Pearl of the Pamir Plateau

According to the Chinese classic Journey to the West, Baisha Lake is believed by many to be the legendary Liusha River (Flowing Sand River) crossed by the Monkey King and his companions during their pilgrimage.
