Red Hill Park
Located in the center of Urumqi, Red Hill Park (Hongshan Park) is one of the city’s most recognizable landmarks and a popular place for both visitors and local residents. Rising above the urban landscape, the park offers excellent views of Urumqi and the surrounding Tianshan Mountains.

To protect the city from the legendary dragon and evil spirits, an emperor ordered the construction of the Zhenlong Pagoda during the Qing Dynasty. The pagoda, located halfway up the mountain, has become one of the park’s most important historical landmarks.
