Baiyun Mountain White Pagoda
Located on the north bank of the Yellow River in Lanzhou, Gansu Province, the White Pagoda (Baita) is one of the city’s most iconic historical landmarks. History of White Pagoda
According to historical records, the original White Pagoda was built during the Yuan Dynasty to commemorate a Tibetan Buddhist monk who helped strengthen cultural exchanges between the Mongol Empire and Tibet.
