Yunyang Tianxia Longgang Dragon Jar GEO Park
Tianxia Longtan Dragon Jar National GEO Park is located in the 80 kms
away southeast corner of Yunyang County of Chongqing, 37 kilometers long from north to south, and 19 kilometers wide from east to west. It includes the whole Tujia People Minority township of Qingshui, Yaoling, Yanping and Nixi, with a total area of 296 square kilometers and 1625 meters above sea level.
The most attractive main landscape of Yunyang Longgang Dragon Jar GEO Park is the karst landform represented by the Longgang Sinkhole and the canyon landscape represented by the stalagmite River Grand Canyon.

Dragon Jar Sinkhole
The sinkhole is irregularly ellipse in the plane, with a long axis distance of 304~326 meters and a short axis distance of 178~183 meters. The depth is 335 meters, ranking third in China and fifth in the world; the pit wall is nearly 90 degrees, this straight up and down form is "when the world". Karst collapse and dissolution are the main reasons for the formation of Longgang Tiankeng. The longtank Tiankeng sinkhole landscape combination is orderly, and the stone buds, peak cluster, funnels on the surface and the three layers of underground Karst caves form their own system. In particular, its three-layer cave, the first layer is the full moon cave, the second layer is called the moon cliff cave, the third layer is located at the bottom of the tank underground river, the dark river flows to the stalagmite river.
Stone Shoot River
From the cliff on the north side of the Longgang Tiankeng, along a very narrow mountain road, after four hours of difficult trek, then down to the most enchanting stalagmite river scenic area. The flowing water from Qiyao Mountain has cut into the huge thick rock layers here, forming a very deep and mysterious Grand Canyon. On the east bank of the Grand Canyon, stands a giant pillar formed by dissolution-stalagmites. Stalagmites are more than 200 meters high, majestic as cutting. The stalagmite river is named because of it. The stalagmite river is soft and breathtaking, clear and varied. Take a rubber boat, follow the soft stalagmite river through the long Grand Canyon can river all the way to the Yangtze River.
Arhat Peaks:
Arhat peak, because of the 18 peaks similar to the Arhat of Buddhism, got its name. There is a depression next to each dissolved peak, often connected by the peak depression, scattered at random. The height of the peak is between 70~100 meters, these small mountains, or like cones, or like steamed bread, in the plane of a chain arrangement, the area can reach several square kilometers, it can be said that "near and low are different". On the peak and depression, it is covered by forest, during which often farmland houses.
