Id Kah Mosque
The Id Kah Mosque （艾提尕尔清真寺）is one of the most important Islamic landmarks in China and the spiritual center of Kashgar. Located beside the central square of Kashgar Old City in Xinjiang, it is recognized as the largest mosque in China and a masterpiece of Uyghur Islamic architecture.
The name “Id Kah” means “a place for prayer and celebration during festivals.” With its distinctive yellow-brick walls, elegant Islamic decorations, and strong Uyghur cultural characteristics, the mosque represents the long history and traditions of the region.
History of Id Kah Mosque

Architecture and Layout
The Id Kah Mosque covers an area of approximately 16,800 square meters and consists of several major sections:
