Tang Paradise Xi'an Tang Dynasty theme parkTang Paradise (大唐芙蓉园, Datang Furong Garden) is one of the most famous cultural theme parks in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province, offering visitors a vivid recreation of the magnificent Tang Dynasty (618–907). Located near the original site of the historic Furong Garden of the Tang Dynasty, this large-scale cultural park combines traditional architecture, royal garden landscapes, cultural performances, and modern entertainment technology.
Covering approximately 1,000 mu (about 67 hectares), including a water area of around 300 mu, Tang Paradise is regarded as one of the largest Tang Dynasty-themed cultural parks in northwest China and one of the best places to experience the history and culture of ancient Chang’an.
 
History and Inspiration of Tang Paradise
The original Furong Garden was a famous imperial garden during the Tang Dynasty. Built near the Qujiang area of Chang’an, the capital of the Tang Empire, it was once a place where emperors, aristocrats, and scholars enjoyed elegant gardens, poetry, music, and cultural activities.
The modern Tang Paradise was designed to recreate the atmosphere of the prosperous Tang era, when Chang’an was the largest and most cosmopolitan city in the world.
Through carefully designed landscapes, traditional buildings, cultural exhibitions, and performances, the park allows visitors to experience the artistic achievements and lifestyle of the Tang Dynasty.
