Likeng
Likeng is a village gathered by Li Family.It is 12km away from the Wuyuan city center. Wuyuan is a wonderful place, home to some remarkably beautiful countryside and pretty little rural villages. Wuyuan is located in the northeast of Jiangxi Province, nestled away in the hilly landscape of the edge of western Zhejiang and southern Anhui. Wuyuan gives its name to the entire region, but was once called Ziyangzhen.
There are a number of villages to visit. Start with Qinghua, which will take around 30 minutes on the bus. Here, you can see the 800 year old Caihong Bridge which dates back to the Southern Song Dynasty. The views from here are simply breath-taking.
Carry on and wander the old Qinghua Laojie street where you can admire the beautiful Huizhou wooden carvings, lintels and wooden shop fronts. Wander down the streets some more and try out the local drink, Qinghua Wujiu.

There are two villages name Likeng within reach of Wuyuan. Situated on the river, one hamlet is home to around 300 houses called Da Likeng (Big Likeng), the other is called Xiao Likeng (Small Likeng) but situated to the northeast.
The houses here are typically white-painted, illuminated from above at night by light wells. The houses also feature rectangular openings in the roof to let in both sun and the rain, intending to bathe the houses in natural light with the rainwater pooling away between the stone slabs below.
You can wander the tight, narrow alleyways and explore some of its hidden delights. Although not much to see here, the best thing to do is explore the countryside and reward yourself with some fantastic views.
