Day 1: Ningbo – Mount Putuo | Western Heaven Scenic Area – Puji Temple – South China Sea Guanyin Statue
Your guide in Putuoshan will meet you at your hotel in Ningbo in the morning. From there, travel by private vehicle across the magnificent Zhoushan Cross-Sea Bridge to Zhujiajian Pier, where you will board a ferry to Mount Putuo, one of China's Four Sacred Buddhist Mountains and renowned as the "Buddhist Kingdom on the Sea."
Upon arrival, begin your exploration at the Western Heaven Scenic Area, one of the island's most picturesque and spiritually significant attractions. Visit Guanyin Ancient Cave, the legendary Two Turtles Listening to Buddhist Scriptures, the iconic Pantuo Stone, Meifu Nunnery, where visitors traditionally touch the Buddha's feet for blessings, and the peaceful Heart Stone, a tranquil spot believed to bring serenity and inner peace.
