Day 1 Dali Arrival Meals: None
Our Chinese-speaking driver picks you up at Dali Fengyi Airport. Transfer to hotel for overnight.
Day 2 Dali Meals: breakfast
At 08:30 am, meet your tour guide at the hotel and drive to Xizhou Town to fully appreciate Bai-style traditional architectural courtyards, join the Three-course Tea Ceremony, it is most popular among Bai people which is served for distinguished guests.
Continue to drive to Zhoucheng, various traditional customs are well preserved here. Visit a local Tie Dye Workshop.
Then drive to visit Erhai lake along the ecological corridor. Explore Dali Old Town including the Foreigners’ Street, the Ancient City Wall of Dali and The Gate Tower.
After visiting, transfer back to hotel.
Day 3 Dali-Shangrila Meals: breakfast
After breakfast, we will head to Shangrila (about 3.5 hours driving). First, you will visit the Pudacuo National Park, it is famous for well-preserved landscape, there are beautiful lakes, primitive forests, vast meadows, streams and more.
Later, arrive at Shangrila, stroll around Dukezong Ancient Town and walk up to the top of Guishan Hill to see the Grand Prayer Wheel and have a panoramic view of Shangri-La city. Check in your hotel and have a good rest.
Day 4 Shangrila-Tiger Leaping Gorge Meals: breakfast
In the morning, drive to visit the Songzanlin Monastery to see the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Yunnan, the castle like complex is also known as Little Potala Palace, experience the mystery and traditions of Tibetan Buddhism.
Later, drive to Tiger Leaping Gorge, the deepest gorge in the world, visit Upper Gorge, enjoy the 2.6-kilometer along Jinsha River and the stone trail. After visiting, drive to Tina’s guesthouse to stay overnight.
Tiger Leaping Gorge is located between the 5596 meters Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (Yulong Xueshan) to the south and 5396 meters Haba Snow Mountain (Haba Xueshan) to the north. Legend says that in order to escape from a hunter, a tiger jumped across the river at the narrowest point, hence named Tiger Leaping Gorge and the stone called Tiger Leaping Rock.
Day 5 Tiger Leaping Gorge - Lijiang Meals: breakfast
After breakfast, you will start your hiking from Tina’s Guesthouse to Halfway Guesthouse (takes around 3 hours). Enjoy views of the towering snow-capped mountains, and embrace the small waterfall through the village and up a winding path. After that, take the vehicle to Lijiang.
Day 6 Lijiang Meals: breakfast
Enjoy the sunrise , drive about 30KM to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Scenic Area. Consisting of 13 peaks, among which Shanzidou is the highest with an altitude of 5,600 meters, the mountain stretches a length of 35 kilometers and a width of 20 kilometers. You will firstly reach Ganhaizi Meadow(3100M). Then take the sightseeing bus for a short visiting through the Baishuihe River in Blue Moon Valey, take the chairlift up to Glacier park (about 4500M).
Stroll through Baisha Old Town, which is an enchanting traditional Naxi style old town. Visit the Baisha Mural about 600 years old, which is one part of the World Cultural Heritage by the UNESCO 1997.
Day 7 Lijiang Departure Meals: breakfast
Be escorted to the Lijiang Sanyi Airport for your flight to next destination, service ends!
