D1 Xi’an / Huangling/ Hukou Waterfall
Your guide in Xi’an will pick-up you at hotel and then head for Huangling Mosauleum in about 3 hours’ driving. Huangling was the mausoleum of the ancient emperor of Huangdi in legend, and was respected as the ancestor of Chinese. As a great tribal leader 5000 years ago, he was said to create the civilization of China.
After tour in Huangling, we will continue driving to Hukou Waterfall, which is the only yellow Great Falls on the Yellow River, and also China's second largest waterfall. We will stay here for one night and listening the snoring of yellow river.

D2 Hukou / Ansai / Yan’an
In the morning we will head for Ansai County, and enjoy the wonder of Loess plateau, where the traditional folk of Chinese are well reserved. And we will drive to Ansai in about 2 hours. Ansai is a cultural center of Shanxi, also a lot of ancient Chinese culture were well reserved, such as the waist drum, paper cutting, and cave residence.In the afternoon we will drive to Yan’an city. And we will drop a visit in the Baotashan Tower, where we will have a bird’s eye view of the Yan’an city. Night in local Cave Style hotel.
D3 Yangjialing, Zaoyuan
Yan’an is well known during the second world war as the red center of China, also the base of Chinese communist party. A lot of cultural and revolution relics were left here. Firstly we will visit Yangjialing, where the leaders of CPC lived and worked from 1938 to 1947. This mountain is scattered with a row of caves, which is office and home of of Chairman Mao and his colleagues. And then we will also drop a tour in Zaoyuan, which was another base of CPC at the end of Anti-Japanese war.
In the afternoon we will go back to Xi’an, and your tour to Loess plateau is ended.
