Day 1: Arrival in Pingyao | Pingyao Ancient City

Day 2: Qiao Family Compound – Shuanglin Temple – Pingyao Ancient City
After breakfast, drive to the renowned Qiao Family Compound, one of China's finest examples of traditional Shanxi courtyard architecture. Built during the Qing Dynasty, this magnificent mansion once belonged to the wealthy Qiao merchant family and is famous for its exquisite carvings, elegant courtyards, and rich history. It also gained international recognition as one of the filming locations for the acclaimed movie Raise the Red Lantern.
In the afternoon, visit Shuanglin Temple, another UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrated for its extraordinary collection of more than 2,000 vividly painted clay sculptures dating from the Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing Dynasties. These masterpieces are regarded as some of the finest examples of ancient Chinese Buddhist art.

Day 3: Departure from Pingyao
