The Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region (Xin for short) is located in Northwest China, with its capital city in Urumqi. Many "mosts" of China are found in Xinjiang -- the driest, hottest, and coldest places are in Xinjiang, and China's longest inland river, lowest land and greatest desert are here as well. Here the tourist can see a most spectacular and engrossing topography of the world, locally known as "Yadan". The longest inland river, The Turpan Basin is the second lowest land on the earth next to the Dead Sea in Jordon, while the Mount Qogir, 8,611 meters above sea level, is second in height only to the Mount Everest.
Kashgar is an oasis city with approximately 350,000 residents in the western part of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China. Kashgar is the administrative centre ofKashgar Prefecture which has an area of 162,000 km² and a population of approximately 3.5 million.[2]The city covers an area of 15 km². The altitude averages 1,289.5 m/4,282 ft. above sea level. The city is located in the western extreme of China — within both the Tarim Basin and the Taklamakan Desert — where it experiences an extreme desert climate

D1 Arrive in Urumqi (L/D)
Your guide will meet you at airport in the morning and take you to tour the busy bazaar where you can buy and appreciate various tourism products. The international bazaar in Urumqi is the culture feast of the Xinjiang ethnic groups. After the pleasure trip in the bustling bazaar, you will visit the characteristic mosques which are the other culture symbols in Urumqi.
D2 Heaven Lake of Tian Shan (B/L/D)
In the morning, go to Tian Shan from Urumqi for about one hour. Surrounded by the snow mountains and tall spruces, the Heaven Lake of Tian Shan is the renowned summer resort and scenic spot. The total area of Heaven Lake of Tian Shan is 548 sq km, which is divided into 8 major scenic spots and 38 attractions. In 2007, it was assessed as 5A Class touring sight by National Tourism Administration. In the late afternoon, you will be taken to your hotel in Tianchi.

D3 Gurbantunggut Desert/Huo Shao Hill/ Karamaili ungulate Natural Reserve/ Irtysh River Valley Scenery (B/L/D)
In the early morning, leave for Gurbantunggut Desert, the second largest desert in China, which is comprised by four deserts and the total area is 488 thousands sq km. Then go to explore the Huo Shao Hill which seems like to be divided into two parts in the far distance. In the afternoon, you will be guided to visit the Karamaili ungulate Natural Reserve. The Karamaili Natural Reserve is the largest one in Xinjiang and boasts different kinds of animals and plants. At last, pay a visit to Irtysh River Valley and rest in the hotel at Burqin.

In the morning, take bus to Haanas grassland to view the beautiful valleys and the flocks and herds on the grassland. The Haanas Lake is at the foot of the Altai Mountain. The water of the Haanas Lake is clear and pollution-free. It is said that the water can change the color. Then you will go to view the fascinating brich woods where the red leaves float with wind. At last, you will be guided to visit the mysterious Tuva tribe, which is an unknown tribe living in the depths of the forest at the foot of the Altai Mountain.

D5 Lake Region /Fish Observing Pavilion/Burqin(B/L/D)
In the morning, go to visit the Lake Region where locates the charming Kanas Lake. There are 200 lakes in various shapes in the Lake Region with the total area of 100 sk.qm, and the Kanas Lake is the largest one among these beautiful lakes. After that, the tour guide will lead you to the Fish Observing Pavilion to enjoy the panoramic view of the Kanas Lake and the vast grassland with colorful flowers. In the late afternoon, return to Burqin and check in the hotel there.
In the morning, go to visit the Lake Region where locates the charming Kanas Lake. D6 Wuerhe “ devil city ”/Karamy Oil Field/Shihezi Land Reclamation District/ Burqin(B/L/D)
Go to the grand Wuerhe “ devil city ” by car in the early morning. Located at downstream of the Jiamuhe, the “ devil city ” features an unique oddly shaped wind-erosion landform. You can overlook various sandstones standing in the bondless desert, which places you in a dreamy “devil city”. Then drive to Karamy Oil Field, the first big oilfield since the establishment of new China. In the afternoon, visit the Shihezi Land Reclamation District, the ancient nomadic area, which is pervaded with willows, streams, reservoirs and so on. Go back to Burqin after the whole day travel, rest in the hotel at Burqin.
