D1 Arrive in Hangzhou
In the morning, you will arrive in Hangzhou. Hangzhou, known as “Heaven on Earth”, is a famous historical and cultural city in China with a history of more than 2,200 years, renowned for its stunning natural scenery, profound cultural heritage, and the world-famous West Lake, which has been praised by countless poets and scholars throughout Chinese history.
You will start your Hangzhou exploration with a visit to the West Lake. You will take a leisurely cruise across the rippling lake water, gliding past the classic scenic spots including Three Pools Mirroring the Moon, Broken Bridge, Leifeng Pagoda, Su Causeway and Bai Causeway. You can admire the harmonious blend of mountains, water, pavilions and bridges, and listen to the guide introduce the beautiful legends and history behind each scenic spot.
After the cruise, you will visit Lingyin Temple, one of China’s most ancient and prestigious Buddhist temples, which is nestled in the lush mountains by the West Lake and boasts a history of more than 1,600 years. The temple features a serene environment, magnificent ancient architecture, precious Buddhist relics, and a long-standing Buddhist culture, attracting countless pilgrims and tourists every year. Next, you will climb the Six Harmonies Pagoda, a magnificent ancient pagoda standing by the Qiantang River with a history of more than 1,000 years. You can ascend the pagoda to enjoy the panoramic view of the surging Qiantang River and the city of Hangzhou, and learn about the long history and Buddhist culture of the pagoda.
After the cruise, you will visit Lingyin Temple, one of China’s most ancient and prestigious Buddhist temples, which is nestled in the lush mountains by the West Lake and boasts a history of more than 1,600 years. The temple features a serene environment, magnificent ancient architecture, precious Buddhist relics, and a long-standing Buddhist culture, attracting countless pilgrims and tourists every year. Next, you will climb the Six Harmonies Pagoda, a magnificent ancient pagoda standing by the Qiantang River with a history of more than 1,000 years. In the evening, you will take a magical night tour of Songcheng Theme Park, the largest and most famous Song Dynasty-themed cultural park in China. The park perfectly restores the

You can watch the stunning large-scale live performance Romance of the Song Dynasty, which tells the glorious history and beautiful legends of Hangzhou in the Song Dynasty through advanced stage technology and wonderful performances. D2 Hangzhou Nature & Tea Culture Tour
After breakfast at the hotel, you will start your day with a visit to Xixi National Wetland Park, the first and only national wetland park in China that integrates urban wetland, agricultural wetland and cultural wetland. The park covers an area of more than 10 square kilometers, with crisscrossing rivers, lush vegetation, abundant wildlife, and well-preserved ancient villages and cultural relics. You will take a boat ride on the winding rivers, gliding through the dense reeds and lotus ponds, admiring the beautiful natural scenery of the wetland, and listening to the guide introduce the unique ecological environment and cultural history of the park. You can also wander along the wooden plank roads, visit the ancient villages and museums in the park, and experience the peaceful and natural atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
At noon, you will enjoy a delicious farm-to-table lunch at a local restaurant near the wetland park, tasting fresh local ingredients and authentic Hangzhou home-style dishes.
In the afternoon, you will visit Yunqi Bamboo Trail, a famous scenic spot nestled in the mountains of West Lake Scenic Area, known for its lush bamboo forest, clear spring water, ancient trees and profound Buddhist culture. The trail stretches for several kilometers along the valley, with towering bamboo trees on both sides, creating a quiet and cool environment even in the hot summer. You can take a leisurely walk along the trail, listening to the sound of the spring water and the wind blowing through the bamboo leaves, admiring the ancient trees and Buddhist relics along the way, and enjoying the peace and beauty of nature.
After the bamboo trail tour, you will head to a local Longjing tea plantation in the West Lake Longjing Village, the origin of the world-famous Longjing Tea. You will visit the tea plantation, learn about the growth environment and picking process of Longjing Tea from the local tea farmers, and watch the traditional hand-frying process of Longjing Tea. Then you will sit in the elegant tea house, taste the freshly brewed West Lake Longjing Tea, and learn about the long history and profound tea culture of Hangzhou. You can also purchase authentic Longjing Tea directly from the tea farmers if you are interested.
