Jiaxiu Pavilion
Standing on Fuyu Bridge over the Nanming River, Jiaxiu Pavilion (Jiaxiu Lou) is one of the most famous landmarks in Guiyang, Guizhou Province. Also known as the “First Scholar’s Tower,” this elegant pavilion represents the city’s long history, cultural traditions, and respect for education.

Architecture of Jiaxiu Pavilion
Jiaxiu Pavilion is a beautiful three-story wooden tower standing about 20 meters (66 feet) high. Built in a traditional Chinese architectural style, the pavilion features:
