Day 1: Pick-up / Yulong River Bamboo Rafting / Yuyao Ancient Village

In the morning, your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Yangshuo and take you to the beautiful Yulong River. Here, enjoy a relaxing bamboo raft ride along the river and admire the picturesque karst peaks, lush countryside, and peaceful rural scenery along the banks.
After the bamboo rafting experience, continue to Yuyao Ancient Village, a quiet and relatively less-visited traditional village surrounded by beautiful countryside. The village is well preserved, and you can still see historic houses and traditional architecture dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties. Take a leisurely walk through the village and enjoy an authentic glimpse of rural life in the Yangshuo area.
Return to Yangshuo in the late afternoon. The evening is free for you to explore Yangshuo West Street independently, where you can browse local shops, sample regional snacks, and enjoy the lively atmosphere at your own pace.
Day 2: Yangshuo Cycling Tour

Feature: Classic cycling route featuring karst landscapes and rural scenery
Start your cycling tour from Yangshuo and ride toward Lipu for about 20 minutes to reach Gongnong Bridge. From here, enjoy beautiful views along the river, including the distinctive karst formation known as “Camel Crossing the River.” You will also see the confluence of the Yulong and Jinbao Rivers, creating a beautiful landscape of mountains and waterways.
Continue cycling for about 500 meters to reach the Big Banyan Tree, a famous landmark in the Yangshuo countryside. There is an admission fee of approximately CNY 18 if you wish to enter the scenic area.
About 1 kilometer farther on is Moon Hill, one of Yangshuo’s most recognizable natural landmarks. Turn right toward Moon Hill Village, where you can find several local restaurants and enjoy lunch. The village also provides a wonderful viewpoint for admiring the distinctive arch-shaped opening of Moon Hill.
After lunch, return to the main road and continue cycling past Fushan Temple. Cross a traditional stone arch bridge and arrive at Yan Village. From the village entrance, continue toward Tianjia River and visit the riverside dam area. In the late afternoon, the scenery here becomes particularly peaceful, with gently flowing water, green fields, and small herds of water buffalo moving slowly through the countryside.
Route B: Yangshuo / Gongnong Bridge / Riverside Villa / Yangshuo Sheng Di / Tongmenyan / Fenglou Village / Moon Hill / Big Banyan Tree / Yangshuo
Distance: Approximately 20 km
Feature: A cycling route centered around the Big Banyan Tree and Yulong River
Cycle from Yangshuo to Gongnong Bridge and turn right toward the Riverside Villa, a former pumping station that has been converted into a small hostel. The Yulong River flows directly in front of the villa, offering beautiful views of the surrounding karst landscape.
Bamboo rafts gently float along the river, while simple riverside tables provide a pleasant place to stop for a cup of tea and enjoy the peaceful scenery.
Continue cycling along the right bank of the Yulong River, passing through bamboo forests and rural villages, until you reach Yangshuo Sheng Di, where you will stop for lunch.
After lunch, take a short bamboo raft ride across the river and then continue cycling for approximately 1 kilometer to Tongmenyan, a popular rock-climbing area where you may see climbers from around the world.
Turn left and cycle for another 500 meters or so to reach Fenglou Village, located behind Moon Hill. After exploring the village, return to Yangshuo County along the main road.
Route C: Yangshuo / Baisha / Yulong Bridge / Jiuxian Village / Xinglong Village / Jima / Gongnong Bridge / West Street / Yangshuo
Distance: Approximately 30 km
Feature: Beautiful scenery along the Yulong River
Begin cycling from Yangshuo along the main road for about one hour to reach Baisha. Continue for another 15 minutes to reach the Yulong River and Yulong Bridge, an old single-arch stone bridge with a history of several centuries.
Continue cycling through the countryside toward Jiuxian Village, an ancient village with a history of more than 1,400 years. Take a break here and explore historic sites such as the General’s Mansion and the Li Family Ancestral Hall.
After the break, continue toward Xinglong Village. Along the way, enjoy classic Yangshuo countryside scenery, including rice paddies, green karst mountains, bamboo groves, and water buffalo grazing in the fields.
Continue cycling along the Yulong River, where you can enjoy views of the calm flowing water and graceful phoenix-tail bamboo. Cross Gongnong Bridge and cycle for approximately 40 minutes back to Yangshuo West Street, where your cycling tour ends.
