Day 1: Chengdu – Tangjiahe Nature Reserve – Wildlife Watching
Driving: Approximately 4–5 hours

Your private guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Chengdu in the morning.
Drive north toward Qingchuan and Tangjiahe, passing through the mountainous landscapes of northern Sichuan. The journey takes approximately four to five hours, depending on road and traffic conditions.
After lunch and check-in, begin your first wildlife-watching excursion in Tangjiahe Nature Reserve.
Rather than focusing on conventional sightseeing, today's activities are centered on wildlife observation and forest exploration. Your guide will help you scan the forest, mountain slopes and valleys for wildlife.
Late afternoon is another good period for wildlife observation, as some animals become more active.
After dinner, an optional night wildlife observation activity may be arranged where permitted. Nocturnal wildlife can include civets, leopard cats and other small mammals.
Return to your hotel for the night.

Day 2: Early-Morning Wildlife Watching – Tangjiahe – Chengdu
Driving: Approximately 4–5 hours

Rise early and set out for another wildlife-watching excursion.
Early morning is an important time for wildlife observation. The forests are quieter, and some animals are more active before the day's visitors and traffic increase.
Your guide will search suitable habitats for takin, golden snub-nosed monkeys, deer, Chinese serows and other wildlife.
After breakfast and a final wildlife observation session, leave Tangjiahe and begin the drive back to Chengdu.
Stop for lunch on the way and continue to Chengdu, arriving in the late afternoon or early evening.
