D1 Chengdu / Jianmenguan Pass / Guangyuan Hiking 3-4 hours
In the morning you will head to Jianmen guan Pass by bullet train and enjoy the landscape transiting from Sichuan plain to mountain gradually on the train.
Meet with your tour guide and driver in Jianmenguan at noon, then you will hike up to the mountain and reached in Jianmenguan pass, which used to be the only and dangerous gate between Sichuan province to middle China. Have a bird’s eye view of the mountain around it. Hiking down the mountain in the afternoon.
And then you will head to Cuiyunlang Corridor, which is ruin of the state highway in ancient Shu Kingdom 1000 years ago, you will make a short hiking here to enjoy the beautiful and ancient pine trees over 1000 years history.
Head to Guangyuan city in the late afternoon for night.
D2 Guangyuan / Tangjiahe Nature Reserve Hiking 2 hours
Guangyuan is the hometown of the only female emperor in China, Ms.
Wu Zhetian, so in the morning you will drop a tour in Huangzhe temple, which is to commemorate this great woman.
And then you will head to Mingyuexia Gorge in about 30kms away, in which you will hike along the ancient trail on cliff, and enjoy the big mountain and Jialingjian River en route. It is also part of the ancient road.
In the late afternoon , you will head to Tangjiahe Nature Reserve Park in about 2.5 hours’ driving. Tangjiahe is rich in many kind of wild life as giant panda, Takin, Asian bear, Golden monkey, etc. They just hide in this big mountain! Many wild animals may descend the mountain to search for food in the evening here. Night in local hotel.
D3 Tangjiahe Nature Reserve Park Hiking Hiking 4 hours
In the morning you will hike up 1 to 2 hour to Motianling pass, which is the gate of Sichuan and Gansu province too in ancient time. Enjoy the beautiful mountain around, also you may encounter with wildlife there. Descend the mountain at noon, and return hotel for rest.
In the afternoon you will hike along the mountain valley to search for wildlife as well as enjoy the beautiful valley. Also hike up to the lower part of the mountain to see the half raised monkeys.
D4 Tangjiahe / Wanglang Nature Reserve / Jiuzhaigou Hiking 2 hours
In the morning you will head to Wanglang Nature Reserve, which is also famous for wildlife. And then you will make a hiking from Ganhaizi to Baishagou in 2.5 km, where you may see blue sheep. And then you can continue to hike up the mountain in 30 to 60 minutes to enjoy the virgin mountain and wildlife.
Exit the Wanglang valley in the afternoon and continue to Jiuzhaigou valley. Night in local hotel
D5 Jiuzhaigou Valley Hiking Hiking 6 hours
As the most famous beautiful nature in the world, today you will hike in the beautiful Jiuzhaigou valleys all the day. In the morning you will take local sightseeing bus to Bamboo sea, and then hike along the valley trail and enjoy the beautiful lakes of Panda lake, Five Flower Sea, Pearl waterfall, etc, in the afternoon you will hike from Long Sea to Five Color Lake, Rhinoceros Lake, Shuzheng Lake, etc. Exit the valley in the late afternoon.
D6 Jiuzhaigou / Huanglong Hiking / Chengdu
In the morning you will head to Huanglong National Park in about 2 hours’ driving. And then you will take cable car up the mountain, and then hike 40 minutes to five color lake, and then continue to hike down the mountain and enjoy the beautiful lakes and travertine landscape.
In the late afternoon you will head to railway station in Songpan and board the bullet train to Chengdu. End of the tour.
