Day 1: Chengdu / Anren Ancient Town
Your private guide will pick you up at your hotel in Chengdu in the morning and drive approximately 1.5 hours to Anren Ancient Town in Dayi County.
Upon arrival, begin your cultural exploration at the Jianchuan Museum Complex, one of China’s largest private museum complexes. The complex consists of numerous museums covering a wide range of themes related to Chinese history and society.
The collections explore subjects including World War II, Chinese history, traditional culture, and the social history of modern China. With its extensive collections and diverse exhibitions, the museum complex offers an interesting insight into China’s turbulent and fascinating modern history.
After the museum visit, explore Anren Ancient Town, known for its well-preserved historic streets, traditional buildings, and old residences.

Day 2: Anren Ancient Town / Chengdu
After breakfast, continue exploring the historical heritage of Anren.
Visit the Liu Wencai Manor, one of the best-known historic manor complexes in Sichuan. The former residence and manor provide an opportunity to learn about the life of Liu Wencai and the social structure of rural Sichuan during the late Qing and Republican periods.
Explore the traditional courtyards, residences, gardens, decorative details, and historical collections within the manor complex. The visit also provides an excellent introduction to the traditional architecture and local lifestyle of western Sichuan.
After lunch, begin the drive back to Chengdu.
Arrive in Chengdu in the afternoon, where your 2-day Anren Museum & Heritage Tour ends.
