Pudacuo National Park, is located in Hongpo Village, Jiantang Town, Shangri-La City, Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. It is also located in the center of "Three Rivers  World Natural Heritage “ in northwest Yunnan.
      The highest point of Pudacuo National Park is 4670 meters above sea level, and the lowest point is 2347 meters above sea level. There are relatively primitive and complete forest shrubs, alpine meadows, wetlands and lakes, geological relics, rivers and canyon ecosystem, etc., which has high geographical scientific value and tourism value.
 

Shudu lake
Shudu Lake is an important part of the main scenic area of the Pudacuo park. It is about 40 kilometers away from Shangri-La. It is one of the largest lakes in Shangri-La and is an "internationally important wetland". In Tibetan, "Shudu" means cheese being as strong as stone. Shudu Lake has a large water area, and its ecosystem integrates plateau lakes, marsh meadow, and primitive dark coniferous forest vegetation, and rare animal and plant resources are very rich. The lake is rich in "split fish". The fish is golden, there is a crack in the abdomen, and the fish is delicate and delicious. The lake also lives in a large number of wild ducks, water hyacinth, yellow ducks and other birds. The south bank of Du Lake has a total length of 3.3 kilometers, the 2.2 km of ecological hiking experience route along the river and the 3 km of the lake, a total of three routes.
 
Bitahai Lake
Bitahai lake is one of the main scenic spots in the Pudacuo park. The wetland ecosystem and the forest, swamps and meadow ecosystem around the lake have basically maintained their original state, which is the habitat of rare fish such as double lipped fish, and also provides a resting place and wintering ground for rare birds such as black-necked cranes. In Tibetan, "Bita" means "oak tree turns into felt". There are a large number of oak trees and primeval forests around the lake, and the shadows of the trees reflect the lake. The Bitahai walkway is about 4.4 kilometers long.
 
Tales of Bitahai Lake
Legend has it that when goddess was dressing up, she lost her mirrors accidentally, which was broken and formed many plateau lakes, among which Bitahai lake is one of the most beautiful lenses inlaid with emerald. It is also said that this is the "poison lake" mentioned in the biography of King Gesar.
