Hanpo Pass
Located in the eastern part of Lushan Mountain in Jiangxi Province, Hanpokou Scenic Area (Hanpokou Pass) is one of the most spectacular viewpoints in the Lushan Scenic Area. Standing high above Poyang Lake, Hanpokou offers visitors an unforgettable panorama of mountains, clouds, and water.
From this mountain pass, travelers can enjoy a magnificent view of the vast and mist-covered Poyang Lake, where boats appear like tiny dots blending with the horizon. Three Precious Trees (Sanbaoshu)

The three trees include:

* Two Chinese cedar (cryptomeria) trees
These magnificent trees have survived for centuries and are considered valuable natural and cultural treasures of Lushan. Standing beside them is a unique rock called Xianglong Stone, meaning “Subduing Dragons Stone,” which adds a touch of legend and mystery to the site.

Dragon Pools (Longtan)
Near the Three Precious Trees are two beautiful mountain pools known as Yellow Dragon Pool (Huanglongtan) and Black Dragon Pool (Wulongtan).
According to local legend, two dragons once lived in these pools and frequently fought with each other, causing damage to the surrounding trees and flowers. Eventually, Buddhist monks subdued the dragons, bringing peace back to the mountain.
Today, the Dragon Pools are peaceful natural attractions surrounded by waterfalls, rocks, and dense forests. The clear water, cool mountain air, and traditional legends make this area one of the most charming places to explore in Lushan.
