Dazhang Mountain
Located on the border between Anhui and Jiangxi Provinces, Dazhang Mountain (Dazhangshan Mountain) forms the northern natural barrier of Wuyuan County, Jiangxi Province. Wolong Valley: A Magnificent Canyon of Waterfalls
The highlight of Dazhang Mountain is Wolong Valley (Wolong Gorge), a spectacular canyon stretching approximately 3 kilometers with a vertical height difference of about 730 meters.
The valley features steep cliffs, dramatic terrain, and numerous waterfalls flowing through the mountains. Some sections of the gorge have extremely steep slopes, creating a thrilling landscape shaped by millions of years of natural erosion.
Among the waterfalls in Wolong Valley is a magnificent waterfall with a drop of nearly 193 meters, considered one of the highest waterfalls in China. After rainfall, the water rushes down from the towering cliffs with a powerful roar, creating a breathtaking scene.
From a distance, the waterfall resembles a white jade dragon descending from the sky, sparkling under the sunlight and adding to the magical atmosphere of the valley.
