Wujiangzhai Village International Tourism Resort
Wujiangzhai Village International Tourism Resort is nestled along the Wujiang River 
at the border of Shangji and Xinmin towns in Bozhou District, Zunyi City, Guizhou Province, and it spans 5.08 square kilometers in the big mountain. This revitalized cultural and tourism destination, built upon the original Wujiang zhai village site, offers a comprehensive leisure experience blending sightseeing, relaxation, vacations, healthyness, and conferences. The historic Wujian Village became part of Zunyi Prefecture during the Ming Dynasty and was named after its ferry of Wujiang river crossing . Wujiangzhai is in northern Guizhou, embodied the philosophy of harmony between heaven and humanity, prioritizes human-centered development, and fosters the coexistence and prosperity of all living things, ultimately earning its name from the village's administrative office.
The Wujiangzhai International Tourism Resort, originally developed in October 2016
on the site of the historic Wujiangzhai, and started its trial operations on February 1, 2022. The resort features six themed zones: a pastoral healthy tour area, a high-altitude agricultural experience zone, an original residential area for indigenous communities, a hot spring business and convention zone, a valley camping and adventure zone, and the Chuxinjian Ecological Resort. Notable attractions include the Hui Long Pagoda, the Ancient Tea-Horse Trade Road, the Riverside Fish Market, the Chen Gong Ancestral Hall, the Wheatfield Theater, and the Assembly Hall.
The Wujiangzhai scenic area features 43 cultural and experiential attractions, including 2 cultural venues, 4 craft workshops, 3 performance centers, and 21 traditional Wu-style canoes.

Chen Gong Ci (Chen Gong Shrine), an ancient architecture built to commemorate Zunyi
Prefecture governor, Mr. Chen Yudian during the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty. It was constructed in 1849 (the 29th year of the Daoguang era). This architecture comprised a brick-and-stone memorial archway, covered walkways, side chambers, a main shrine hall, a stele corridor, and a pavilion, spanning approximately 1,000 square meters.
The Wheat Field Theater. It is the most distinctive open-air venue in Wujiangzhai, features a fan-shaped seating area amidst golden wheat fields. This large-scale cultural complex integrates drama performances, musical shows, exhibitions, and cultural exchanges. With a capacity for nearly a thousand people, the theater was designed by SCA, a Japanese light show design firm, under the supervision of Terukazu Uchida, a judge of the Tokyo International Exhibition Light Show Competition. The theater's light show, titled "Golden Spring," embodies the theme of wheat symbolizing the earth's life-giving radiance, perfectly aligning with the venue's essence.
The predecessor of the Council Hall was the Sichuan-Guizhou Guild Hall, which served as a meeting place for fellow townspeople and local merchants, as well as a spiritual sanctuary for the residents.
The Riverside Fish Market features three main sections: an outdoor live fish catching zone, market stalls, and a fresh fish section. Visitors can also try live fish caught on the spot at the adjacent experience area. For those who prefer not to handle the fish, the nearby restaurant offers a transparent kitchen where each Wujiang fish is freshly killed and sliced on-site to ensure its freshness and flavor.
