Xiapu
Xiapu is one of the most well known photography spots in China.
It is located in the northeast of Fujian Province, the northwest bank of the Taiwan Strait. Xiapu is coastal location with a peninsula-type area, and the county covered land area of 1716 square kilometers, and 29592.6 square kilometers of sea area . The coastline is 505 kilometers long, accounting for one-eighth of the Fujian province. And there are more than 400 islands. The long coastline, numerous islands and harbors have become the geographical characteristics of Xiapu. By the end of 2023, Xiapu County had a permanent resident population of 479,000.
The terrain drops from northwest to southeast, with high peaks in the northwest, the highest peak is 1192.4 meters; in the middle of Xiapu are the rolling hills, low mountains, plains and valleys, and the "two oceans, three bays and four ports" (East Ocean, GuanOcean, Sansha Bay, Funing Bay, Yancheng Bay, Sansha Port, Dongchong Port, Lujia Port and Yantian Port). In particular, it has precious natural deep water coastline such as Xinan, Sansha and North bi and abundant land reserve resources.

Beiqi Tantu Tidal Flat Area
