Day 1: Nanchang – Lushan Mountain
Your tour guide in Nanchang will meet you at your hotel this morning and accompany you on a scenic drive to Lushan Mountain, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its magnificent natural beauty and rich cultural heritage.
Upon arrival, begin your exploration with a visit to the tranquil Lulin Lake and the historic Lulin Bridge, both surrounded by lush forests and picturesque mountain scenery. Continue to Hanyang Peak Viewing Platform (Hanyangkou), one of the best places to admire the breathtaking panorama of Lushan's rolling peaks and mist-covered valleys.
In the afternoon, visit the spectacular Sandie Spring Waterfall, the most famous waterfall on Lushan Mountain. A well-known Chinese saying goes, “If you haven't seen Sandie Spring, you haven't truly visited Lushan.” Cascading down in three dramatic tiers, the waterfall is an unforgettable natural wonder and a highlight of any Lushan journey.
In the evening, enjoy a leisurely stroll through Guling Town, the charming mountain resort town at the heart of Lushan. With its cool climate, historic villas, and relaxed atmosphere, Guling offers a delightful way to end your first day on the mountain.
Day 2: Lushan Mountain – Nanchang
After breakfast, continue discovering the scenic and cultural treasures of Lushan Mountain. Visit the picturesque Ruqin Lake, followed by the historic Tianqiao (Sky Bridge), a natural stone formation that has inspired countless poets and painters throughout Chinese history.
Continue into the beautiful Jinxiu Valley, one of Lushan’s most celebrated scenic areas, known for its dramatic cliffs, unique rock formations, and enchanting landscapes. Along the way, you will also visit Guanmiao Pavilion and the famous Tanpantai, both offering spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
After lunch, depart from Lushan and return to Nanchang, where your guide will transfer you to the railway station for your onward journey, bringing your memorable mountain adventure to a pleasant conclusion.
