5-Day Harbin & China Snow Town Tour
Experience the best of Harbin and China Snow Town on this 5-day winter journey. Explore Harbin’s Russian-influenced architecture, historic streets and famous ice and snow attractions before traveling into the mountains to discover the magical winter scenery of China Snow Town.
Day 1: Arrive in Harbin
Arrive in Harbin today and meet your local guide at the airport or railway station. You will then be transferred to your hotel.
Depending on your arrival time, you can enjoy a short city tour and explore some of Harbin’s highlights. The exact sightseeing arrangements will be adjusted according to your arrival schedule.

Day 2: Harbin City Tour
In the morning, visit Sun Island Scenic Area and explore its famous Snow Art Gallery. During the winter season, the area becomes a spectacular world of snow and ice, with impressive snow sculptures creating a unique northern Chinese winter landscape.
Take a walk through the Russian-style streets and enjoy the distinctive architecture and cultural atmosphere that make Harbin different from other cities in China. You will also have time to appreciate the beautiful scenery along the Songhua River.
In the late afternoon, walk along Central Street (Zhongyang Dajie), Harbin’s most famous historic pedestrian street. Admire its European-style buildings, browse the local shops and try a traditional Harbin ice pop, a popular local treat even in the city’s freezing winter weather.
Continue to Saint Sophia Cathedral, one of Harbin’s most recognizable landmarks. Its distinctive Byzantine-style architecture reflects the city’s fascinating Russian and European heritage.
Optional Winter Experience: Harbin Ice and Snow World
Available in winter only.
In the evening, you can visit Harbin Ice and Snow World, one of the city’s most spectacular winter attractions. Admire enormous ice castles, illuminated ice sculptures and colorful frozen structures that create a magical winter wonderland after dark.
Please note that Harbin Ice and Snow World is a seasonal attraction, and opening dates and activities may vary depending on weather conditions and the official annual arrangement.

Day 3: Harbin – China Snow Town
After breakfast, drive from Harbin to China Snow Town (Xuexiang), a journey of approximately 4 hours depending on road and weather conditions.
Upon arrival, enter the beautiful winter world of China Snow Town. The village is famous for its thick snow cover, snow-covered wooden houses and picturesque winter scenery.
Take a relaxing walk along Snow Street, visit the Snow Museum and enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the snow-covered village from Bangchui Mountain.
Depending on the season, weather and local arrangements, you may also have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of winter activities and performances, such as northeastern Chinese folk dancing, flower parades, ice activities and evening entertainment.
In the evening, enjoy authentic northeastern Chinese cuisine at a local restaurant and experience the hearty flavors of northern China.
Overnight in China Snow Town.
Day 4: China Snow Town – Harbin
Rise early today to experience the magical snowy morning of China Snow Town. When the weather conditions are right, the village can be covered in mist and frost, creating the beautiful phenomenon often known as a “rime” or “frost-covered” landscape.
Take another leisurely walk around the village and enjoy the snow-covered houses, forests and mountain scenery. You will have additional time to experience the winter atmosphere and take photos before leaving China Snow Town.
Later, drive back to Harbin, which takes approximately 4 hours depending on road and weather conditions.
Upon arrival in Harbin, transfer to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure.

Day 5: Harbin Departure
Today marks the end of your Harbin and China Snow Town tour.
At the appropriate time, your guide and driver will transfer you to Harbin Airport or Harbin Railway Station for your onward journey.
