Emei Kungfu
The essence of Chinese kung fu is contributed to the unique multi-ethnic and regional cultures of China, originated from the long-term human life and labors. Emei kung fu integrates Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism, fully combines the natural laws and humanistic ethics, through the wars of the past dynasties, the regional culture of Sichuan and the cultivation of Buddhism, and the holy place for chivalry and high seclusion. Emei Kungfu is based on the ancient philosophy of the unity of human being and nature, with a round and empty natural environment, forming the god, meaning, qi, strength and shape of the boxing potential style characteristics of "rigid and soft setbacks, movement and virtual spirit, elegant and natural".

Through the ages, Emei has produced many kung fu talents. In the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, the white ape man, also known as Situ Xuan Kong, imitated the action of the mountain ape. He is the first Chinese kung fu recorded in historical materials in history, which laid a solid foundation for the origin of Emei Kongfu, and can be said to be the first founder of Emei Kongfu.

The "indifferent Master" of the Northern Wei Dynasty is one of the founders of Mount Emei martial arts, and his portrait is still enshrined in the temple of Zhongfeng Temple in Mount Emei. He was originally the "general of Zhennan" of Emperor Xiaojing of the Eastern Wei during the Southern and Northern Dynasties. Due to the disagreement with his boss, he went to Zezhou, and later went to Mount Emei Temple, and expanded the Temple. During the cultivation of the Temple in Mount Emei, he introduced his superb military attack and defense skills to Mount Emei, combined with the practice and enlightenment. It is said that his Dharma is incomprehensible and can subdue the beasts.

The "Baiyun Zen Master" in the Southern Song Dynasty founded "Emei Linji Qigong". Linji Qigong integrates the essence of interpretation, Taoism, medicine and martial arts, that is Twelve Zhuang Gong of Emei" which has been handed down up to now. Its martial arts cultivation is profound, rich in connotation and philosophy.

The elder of the Southern Song Dynasty, "the elder of Deyuan", was called "the long white eyebrow" because of his white eyebrows. On the basis of Baiyun, he created the "White eyebrow boxing", which has been spread in Sichuan, Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and other places. It also involves the director of emei monk road martial arts, combined with their own experience, compiled the book "Emei Boxing".

The Ming Dynasty was the period of maturity and development of Emei Kungfu, and many Kungfu masters were very skillful and amazing. For example, "Zen Master Puen" is the founder of Emei marksmanship.

Emei Kungfu thought
Shaolin Kungfu is based on Buddhist thought; Wudang Kungfu focuses on Taoism; but Emei Kungfu combines Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism, depending on the infiltration of different cultures. In the past history, politics, economy, culture, transportation and humanistic thoughts were all closed and separated, but Emei Kungfu could widely absorb and tolerate the strengths of many schools to stand out, adding a new chapter to the development history of Chinese martial arts. It is not only on the surface of ordinary force, fighting, or a certain kind of thought, it also melted the three profound thoughts, law and complex regional culture, and formed a new way of keeping health, medicine, intelligence and martial arts in one. Emei Kungfu is based on the philosophy of the unity of man and nature, and has a high example of "nature", "circle", "space" and "nature".

Emei kung fu style is characterized by "rigid and soft setbacks". Specifically refers to the internal strength and rigid, and the body of the soft during the attack and defense.
