Chongkur is located between China, Russia, and Kazakhstan. Most people here use horse sledge and primitive ski board which is covered by animal skin in winter to do hunting. And they are the descendant of Genghis Khan - Tuwa Mongolian. Chongkur and Kom is very close to Kanasi Lake, in winter with the heavy snowfall, the only means of transport is snow sledge.

Itinerary
D01 Arrive in Urumqi Check in hotel
Urumqi is the capital of Xinjiang. Upon arrival in Urumqi airport, we meet our guide and vehicle and then transfer to hotel.
D02 Urumqi- Burqin
Fly to Burqin today, and transfer to hotel.
D03 Burqin-Chonghur (90km drive,mini van ) - stone hut O/N hut
After we get to stone hut, we take horse sledge (40km). Today you can experience the local snow sledge of the Tuba Mongolian.
D04 Stone hut-Kanas Lake (40km) o/n hut
You can enjoy the beautiful lake view of winter Kanas.
D05 Kanas Lake 0/n hut
D06 Kanas / Tubek (4 hours horse sledge) o/n hut
D07-D08 Tubek (ski and horse sledge with the local Tuba Mongolian hunters)
D09 Tubek / Kanas (4 hours snow sledge) o/n in hut
D10 Kanas / Ashabulak (20km away from Kanas, 4 hours snow sledge) 0/N in hut
Communicate with the local skier whose name is Batur Mongol, his ski board is a primitive one
D11 Ashabulak - Jiadengyu (6 hours,30km,sledge) hut
D12 Jiadengyu - Kom sledge guest house of Bidrkhan
D13 visit Shukai’s house 83years old Mongolian skier and flute player hut
D14 Kom / Stone House 40KM SLEDGE HUT
D15 Stone Hut-Chongkur horse sledge hut
D16 Chongkur / Urumqi by bus Hotel ****
D17 leave Xinjiang and back to Sweet home
