Your Beijing day tour begins with a hotel pickup between 7:00 am and 8:30 am. From your hotel, drive for approximately 1 hour to Tian’anmen Square, one of the most iconic landmarks in Beijing. Spend about 40 minutes exploring the square and enjoying views of its impressive historic surroundings.

From Tian’anmen Square, walk to the Forbidden City, the largest and best-preserved ancient imperial palace complex in China. Follow the historic central north-south axis through a series of magnificent palaces, courtyards, and ceremonial halls, and discover the fascinating history of China’s imperial dynasties. The visit to the Forbidden City takes approximately 2 hours.

Afterward, drive for about 1 hour to Changping District. Before lunch, enjoy a 45-minute visit to a jade carving factory. Jade carving is one of China’s most famous traditional handicrafts, combining exquisite carving techniques with rich elements of traditional Chinese culture and symbolism.

After the jade carving visit, enjoy a traditional Chinese lunch at a local restaurant near the Summer Palace.

In the afternoon, visit the Summer Palace, one of the best-preserved imperial gardens in China and a masterpiece of traditional Chinese garden design. Centered around Kunming Lake and Longevity Hill, the palace complex combines elegant architecture with beautiful natural scenery. The famous Long Corridor and Marble Boat are among the highlights of the garden and offer excellent opportunities to appreciate traditional Chinese architecture and landscape design. Spend approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes exploring the Summer Palace.

At the end of the tour, you will be driven back to your hotel, concluding your Beijing sightseeing day.
