As the capital of China, Beijing city is China’s political, cultural center as well as a transport and international exchange hub. It has 3000 years of history. This ancient, young, solemn, and yet charming famous city of culture draws millions of domestic and overseas tourists all the year round. The city encompasses 17020 square kilometers with a population currently 14 million. It is one of the four centrally administered cities in the county, the other three being Chongqing, shanghai and Tianjin. Beijing has a continental climate of temperate zone with four seasons distinctly divide. Autumn is characterized by clear sky and crisp air as well as beautiful scenery, so the city is a magnet for visitors both home and abroad.
 
The Great wall, symbolizing China’s ancient civilization, is one of the world’s most renowned projects. It is a distance of 75 kilometers northwest of Beijing. Its highest point at Badaling is some 800 meters above sea level. A well-known popular saying goes: ‘He who hasn’t been to Great Wall is not a true man’. Located in Yan Qing northwest of Beijing. It was built in the beginning of Ming Dynasty and was a special section of the Ming Great Wall. As an important Pass, Ba Da Ling Great Wall means getting to all the directions in English. The total length is 4500 meters. Many beacon towers, watch towers add more magnificence to the Great Wall.

D1 Arrive in Beijing: Bird’s Nest & Water Cube
 
Upon arrival in Beijing, your guide will meet you at the airport. Begin your Beijing experience with an exterior visit to the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube, two iconic landmarks built for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
 
Take some time to admire the distinctive architecture and enjoy photo opportunities outside these famous Olympic venues. Afterward, drive to your hotel and check in. The rest of the day is free for you to relax and recover from your journey.
 
 
D2 Beijing Excursion: Tian’anmen Square, Forbidden City & Summer Palace
 
Your second day begins with a hotel pickup between 7:00 am and 8:30 am. Start your sightseeing at Tian’anmen Square, one of Beijing’s most iconic landmarks and an important site in China’s modern history. The square is surrounded by numerous historic and cultural landmarks and offers an interesting introduction to the history of modern Beijing.
 
From Tian’anmen Square, proceed to the Forbidden City, the largest and best-preserved ancient imperial palace complex in China. With more than 500 years of history, it served as the imperial residence and political center of China during the Ming and Qing dynasties.
 
Explore the Forbidden City along its historic central north-south axis, passing through magnificent palaces, courtyards, and ceremonial halls. The visit takes approximately 2 hours.
 
In the afternoon, visit the Summer Palace, one of China’s finest imperial gardens and a masterpiece of traditional Chinese landscape design. Enjoy the beautiful scenery around Kunming Lake and Longevity Hill while exploring its elegant pavilions, corridors, and historic buildings.
 
After sightseeing, enjoy one of Beijing’s most famous culinary specialties: Beijing Roast Duck at Quanjude Restaurant. Savor the crispy skin, tender meat, and traditional accompaniments that have made Beijing Roast Duck famous around the world.
 
After dinner, drive back to your hotel for an overnight stay.
 
 
D3 Beijing: Ming Tombs & Badaling Great Wall
 
Your third day begins with a pickup from your hotel, followed by a drive of approximately 1 hour to the Ming Tombs, located about 50 miles from downtown Beijing. The Ming Tombs are a well-preserved imperial burial complex dating back more than 500 years and contain the mausoleums of 13 Ming Dynasty emperors.
 
Visit Changling, the largest and principal tomb of the Ming Tombs. It is the burial place of Emperor Yongle, who made Beijing the capital during the Ming Dynasty, and his Empress Xu. Spend approximately 1 hour exploring the tomb complex and learning about the history and burial traditions of the Ming Dynasty.
 
Before lunch, enjoy a 45-minute visit to a jade carving factory. Jade carving is one of China’s famous traditional handicrafts, combining exquisite craftsmanship with rich elements of Chinese culture and symbolism.
 
Afterward, enjoy a traditional Chinese lunch at a local tourist restaurant.
 
In the afternoon, continue to the Badaling Great Wall, the most famous and one of the best-preserved sections of the Great Wall near Beijing. Spend approximately 2 hours hiking along the ancient fortifications, exploring its historic watchtowers and enjoying panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
 
The highest point of the Badaling section is approximately 800 meters above sea level. A cable car is available as an optional service for visitors who prefer a more convenient way to reach the higher sections.
 
After returning to downtown Beijing, enjoy an evening cultural performance featuring Beijing Opera, acrobatics, or Kung Fu, depending on the arrangement. Experience the artistry, costumes, music, and traditional performance techniques that make these shows an important part of Chinese culture.
 
After the performance, drive back to your hotel.
 
 
D4 Departure from Beijing: Temple of Heaven
 
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the Temple of Heaven, one of Beijing’s most important imperial landmarks.
 
The Temple of Heaven was where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties performed important ceremonies and prayed for good harvests, favorable weather, and peace. Explore the impressive architecture and surrounding grounds while learning about the religious traditions of imperial China.
 
After the visit, you will be transferred onward for your departure from Beijing and your journey back to your home country, concluding your 4-day Beijing tour.

2. Guide. An English speaking guide will be provided, who will accompany you from the start of tour to end of tour. 
3. Private Transfers during tour. Our guide and driver will pick-up you at your hotel on time and drop-off you after the tours. 
4. Meal. Four typical Chinese lunches will be arranged accordingly at local restaurant.
