Its highest point at Badaling is some 800 meters above sea level. A well-known popular saying goes: ‘He who hasn’t been to Great Wall is not a true man’. Located in Yan Qing northwest of Beijing. It was built in the beginning of Ming Dynasty and was a special section of the Ming Great Wall. As an important Pass, Ba Da Ling Great Wall means getting to all the directions in English. The total length is 4500 meters. Many beacon towers, watch towers add more magnificence to the Great Wall.

Your guide will pick you up from your hotel between 7:00 am and 8:00 am, and begin your Beijing sightseeing journey.
First, drive to the Ming Tombs (Dingling Tomb), located in the Changping District of Beijing.
The Ming Tombs are one of the best-preserved imperial tomb complexes in China, with a history of more than 500 years. Among the thirteen Ming Dynasty tombs, Dingling is the burial place of Emperor Wanli (Zhu Yijun), the 13th emperor of the Ming Dynasty.
Dingling is especially famous for its underground palace, which was the first officially excavated imperial tomb in China. The underground chambers form a magnificent stone palace complex, allowing visitors to explore the fascinating burial architecture and royal traditions of the Ming Dynasty.
The visit to Dingling takes approximately 2 hours.
After the Ming Tombs visit, enjoy a short stop at a traditional Jade Carving Factory before lunch.
Jade carving is one of China’s most famous traditional handicrafts. Combining exquisite carving techniques with Chinese cultural symbolism, jade artworks represent both artistic achievement and traditional beliefs.
Enjoy a traditional Chinese lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, continue to the spectacular Mutianyu Great Wall, located about 75 km northeast of central Beijing.
Surrounded by beautiful mountains, dense forests, and changing seasonal scenery, Mutianyu Great Wall is considered one of the most picturesque and best-preserved sections of the Great Wall.
Originally built and expanded during the Ming Dynasty, Mutianyu served as an important northern defensive barrier protecting Beijing and the imperial tombs. During your visit, you will walk along the ancient wall, explore watchtowers, and enjoy magnificent mountain views.
For visitors who prefer a more comfortable experience, a cable car is available as an optional choice to reach higher sections of the wall.
After the Great Wall visit, return to downtown Beijing.
On the way back, enjoy photo opportunities of two famous Beijing Olympic landmarks from outside: the National Stadium (Bird’s Nest) and the National Aquatics Center (Water Cube), built for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
Before returning to your hotel, enjoy a short visit to a traditional Chinese Silk Arts Center, where you can learn about China’s long history of silk production and craftsmanship.
After a full day of sightseeing, your guide will transfer you back to your hotel around 6:00 pm.
