Seven days'education tours in Beijing, experience the culture, history and science of ancient beijing and today.
Over 2000 years’ history of Beijing is the capital of China, which is mixed with both tradition and modern in culture, science and society. In this Summer camp of Beijing Education School Tours the kids will learn both ancient and modern Beijing through various experience and practice, and to be improved in knowledge and operation.
Schedule:
Day 1 Arrival in Beijing,
Airport pick-up, and check-in hotel. In the afternoon hold an summer camp opening ceremony will be held at the hotel.
Day 2 Beijing Little Monsters of the Forbidden City
Morning: Discovering the Little Monsters of the Forbidden City & Exploring the Five Spines and Six Beasts: You will gain a deep understanding of the digital culture within the Forbidden City, including the names, shapes, locations, functions, and mythological legends of the little monsters. At noon: Visit Tiananmen Square at noon.
Afternoon: You will participate in an agricultural culture experience. Experience the rice planting activity with your child in the western part of Beijing, immersing yourself in the agricultural culture:
Let's work together with our children to encapsulate this ancient wisdom of the countryside into an ecological aquarium, observing the dialogue between life and nature! (Subject to on-site activity arrangements)
Day 3 Beijing: One-Day Activity for CCTV Young Reporters
Head for CCTV tower. You will participate in a one-day activity for CCTV Young Reporters. Professional courses will help children establish media values, foster cultural confidence, and showcase their unique styles, enabling them to break through their limits, become more confident, and experience being a CCTV Tower Young Reporter.
Day 4: Beijing Peking Opera Experience
Morning: You will visit the China Science and Technology Museum to explore the history of technological advancements in ancient and modern China.
Afternoon: You will experience the essence of Peking Opera. Here, you will uncover the secrets of Peking Opera, both on and off the stage, experience its singing, recitation, acting, and martial arts, follow professional Peking Opera teachers to paint Peking Opera masks, learn dramatic singing, practice posture and eye movements, wear costumes, and become the characters in the opera, experiencing the myriad postures and feelings of the opera, and feeling the beauty of Chinese national treasures!
Day 5: Beijing Great Wall Hiking Activity
Morning, hike and learn at Mutianyu Great Wall. Learn about the long history of the Great Wall.
Afternoon: Learn at the Bird's Nest.
D6 Beijing: Apailang Creativity Park One-day Activity
Today you will head to the Beijing Apailang Creativity Park. You will have some team-exclusive activities: Staff will lead a super Kaka dance and Kaka art co-creation activity.
After the afternoon activities, you will head to a courtyard house near Gulou for dinner and learn how to make dumplings.
After the event, you will return to the hotel.
D7 Beijing Departure
End of the itinerary and we will see you off at the airport
