Yihun Lhatso lake in Dege
Located between Manigango Town and Dege County in western Sichuan, Yihun Lhatsoi Lake (also known as Xinluhai Lake 新路海) is one of the most beautiful alpine lakes in the Kham Tibetan region. About 11 kilometers from Yihun Lhatsoi Lake, Manigango is a small but important settlement along the western Sichuan–Tibet travel route.
Located approximately 98 kilometers west of Garze Town, Manigango serves as a transportation junction connecting several major routes:
* North to Shiqu County and Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture
* West to Dege
* East to Garze
Although small in size, Manigango plays an important role as a resting point for travelers and truck drivers crossing the Tibetan Plateau.
