D1 Arrive in Yichang
Arrive in Yihcang city at noon, meet with your tour guide and then in the afternoon you will head to Sanxiarenjia, means tribe of three Gorge, where you will enjoy the beautiful river and Ba people’s villages. And you will also enjoy beautiful Xiling gorge of Yangtze river en route. In the late afternoon you will back to Yichang city. Night in hotel.
D2 Yichang / Sanxiarenjia
In the morning you will take local boat from Yichang city up to Sanjiarenjia along the Yangtze river. You will enjoy the beautiful peaks and gorges of Xiling Gorge, which is the third gorge of Three Gorges.
Sanxiarenjia try to show tourist the real life of former people living along Yangtze river. So this morning you will make a mild hiking tour in beautiful Sanxiarenjia Tribe scenery, where you will hike along the mountain trail along Yangtze river and Gorges, also encounter some beautiful view or shows arranged by local scenic management.
You will stay in some small hotel here. It is amazing experience to have a night just on the bank of Yangtze river as well as enjoy the big mountain and gorges around.
D3 Sanxiarenjia / Enshi
In the morning you will head to Enshi city by 3 hours’ driving tour.
In the afternoon you will visit the town of Tusi, or the palace of old king.
D4 Enshi / Zhangjiajie
Today you will visit the beautiful Karst style landscape of Enshi all the day. In the morning you will visit Enshi Grand Gorge, and then in the afternoon visit the Qixing Village, or Seven Star Village.
In the afternoon you will head to Zhangjiajie in 3 hours’ driving.
D5 Zhangjiajie Tour
In the morning, Shuttle bus to Bailong Elevator, you will use Bailong Elevator to get Avatar peaks of Yuanjiajie, and then will walk through the Trail next to the cliff, enjoy the breathtaking view which is known as “The Avatar Site”. After that you will proceed to Kongzhong Tianyuan(Hike up and down 1 hour) . This spot is the 1 of the top picks for photographer without disturbance from tourists. Most of the tourists will never get a chance to view it, since there is not known by many people and nobody leads them there.You will be delighted to see such a secret garden inside the park that is the 'Sky Field Garden' (Kongzhong Tianyuan), which is a small area of paddy fields, seemly hanging on an outcrop surrounded by Zhangjiajie's typical peaks. The paddy fields are farmed by local ethnic people.
Then you will take the bus to Mountain Tianzi—the king of the peak forest(walk up and down stairs 1 hour). The major peak of the Tianzi Mountain is 1250 meters high. Around it are rolling mountains, peaks and picturesque rocks, which gives a sense of mystery as if in fairy land.
D6 Zhangjiajie Tour
In the morning you will head to another gate of Park, where you will start hiking to Huangshizhai. It takes about 2 hours to hike up the mountain on the stone trail, enjoy the peaks along the road. Arrive at Huangshizhai at noon, and then you will hike around on the flat top of the mountain, where you will enjoy another side of avatar peaks.
Descend the mountain by cable car in the afternoon, and then you will visit the Tianmenshan mountain, which has big hole which plane can fly through. In Tianmenshan you will find another side of mountain.
Back to hotel in the late afternoon.
D7 Zhangjiajie Departure
Leave Zhangjiajie today.
Arrive in Yihcang city at noon, meet with your tour guide and then in the afternoon you will head to Sanxiarenjia, means tribe of three Gorge, where you will enjoy the beautiful river and Ba people’s villages.
