Tenglongdong Cave in Lichuan Enshi
Hidden in Lichuan City of Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, 
Hubei Province, Tenglongdong Cave Scenic Area is one of China’s most spectacular karst wonders. Located at the junction of the Daba Mountains and Wuling Mountains, and near the source of the Qingjiang River, the scenic area forms the core part of the Enshi Tenglong Cave Grand Canyon National Geopark.
Only 4 kilometers from downtown Lichuan, Tenglongdong Cave covers an area of 69 square kilometers and is home to one of the world’s most impressive cave systems. The explored cave passages extend for 59.8 kilometers, covering more than 2 million square meters, with five levels of underground chambers and tunnels. After extensive scientific investigations by Chinese and international cave experts, Tenglong Cave has been recognized as a world-class karst cave destination.
The cave complex includes Shuidong Cave, Handong Cave, Liyu Cave, Liangfeng Cave, Xiajiazhai, Three Longmen Caves, and Huaxian Cave, offering visitors a fascinating underground world of giant halls, mysterious rivers, waterfalls, stalactites, and unique geological formations.

Wolong Tunjiang Waterfall
The crystal-clear Qingjiang River flows into Tenglong dong Cave and suddenly plunges over 30 meters at the cave entrance, creating the spectacular “Wolong Tunjiang” waterfall. The roaring water, towering cliffs, and enormous cave entrance form one of the most dramatic natural scenes in Enshi.

The entrance of Tenglongdong Cave is an astonishing 72 meters high and 64 meters wide, large enough for more than 20 trucks to drive side by side or even helicopters to enter. Standing at the entrance, visitors can truly feel the overwhelming power of nature.
