Dalian is located at the southern end of Liaodong peninsula, overlooking the Yellow sea in the north, facing Bohai bay on the west, looking across the sea to the Shandong peninsula, and in the north leaning on the boundless Northeast plain. It is the sea gateway for north China. Dalian is an important seaport as well as the city of trade, industry and tourism. The area of Dalian occupies 12,574 sq.km with the coastline of 1, 906 km and a population of 5,90 million. It leans on mountains and is surrounded by the sea, it has four distinct seasons with mild winters and summers that are not extremely hot. The average temperature is 10,5 *C. Traffic in Dalian is convenient and the trade is booming. The production is abundant and it is rich in apples, hawthorns, strawberries, fresh fish, shells, oysters and other seafood. It is a beautiful coastal city in northeast China and one of the most famous Chinese cities for tourism. After many years of construction and development, Dalian has become the cleanest city of China, a fine example of a city that protects environment, an outstanding touristic city and the first city to be introduced in cooperation between China an Japan regarding environment. It is also the city famous in China for its parks and gardens and the best place to live in China. In 1999 it obtained the United Nation’s “Population Award”, and in the year 2000 it was named “one of the 500 world cities that protect environment” by UN Office for Enviromental Development. At the same time it is “the city of fashion”, “the football city”, but it also has many more reputations. Today Dalian has set up the frame for building a famous international city and it is making a steady progress towards becoming a regional center for international shipping, a trade center, a finance center, an information centre and the centre of tourism. It has already become one of the most blooming Chinese cities that is bursting with attractiveness.

Pick up from your hotel. Drive to visit Zhongshan Square. Located in the eastern part of the city, Zhongshan Square Dalian is the first music square in China. It is a good recreational place.

Then move on to Xinghai Square, the Square is one of major stages for city galas like the Fashion Festival and the Spring Festival Fireworks Gathering. After lunch we'll have a sightseeing on Bangchui island, which is a place with sandy beach, reefs, cliffs, islands, green hills and a well-equipped recreation facilities including a mini golf court.

The next attractions Tiger Beach offers stunning views of the seaside cliffs.

Finally, we will visit the Russian Folklore Cultural Street to enjoy the Russian style architectures & Russian style souvenirs. Drive back to your hotel after this one day tour.
