Erhai Lake, known as Yeyu Lake in ancient times, is situated to the east of Dali. A plateau lake, it is 42 kilometers long and 3.5-7.5 kilometers wide. It is 150 kilometers in circumference and covers an area of 252 square kilometers. The deepest spot is 21 meters. In spring, the water twinkles in the sunlight. In summer, the lake is surrounded by green-trees, the branches of which stretch over the water. In autumn, the lake is tranquil and charming. In winter, the twinkling water and the snow-covered Cangshan Mountains form a charming contrast. In this scenic area, there are three islets, four islands, five lakes, nine streams, eight special views and four pavilions.

Day 1
Pick up from your hotel, drive to Erhai lake, cruise on Erhai Lake, which is one of the most fascinating parts of a Dali visit. You can enjoy the crystal waters of Erhai Lake and the snow mantled Cangshan radiating with each other. This Scene is commonly described as ' Silver Cangshan and Jade Erhai '.
Pick up from your hotel, drive to Erhai lake, cruise on Erhai Lake, which is one of the most fascinating parts of a Dali visit. You can enjoy the crystal waters of Erhai Lake and the snow mantled Cangshan radiating with each other. This Scene is commonly described as ' Silver Cangshan and Jade Erhai '.
Then head to the Butterfly Spring, the vast numbers of butterflies are hardly distinguishable from the flowers as the whole tree pulsates with every color of the rainbow.
After lunch, visit Dali ancient city including grand city wall, traditional Bai ethnic minority folk houses and marvelous scenery. Then proceed to the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple ,which were built a thousand years ago.
At last, transfer back to your hotel.
