Classical Silk road overland tours, we will drive along the north edge of Taklimakan Desert to the unique Muslim city, Kashigar, and then we will drive along the south edge of Taklimakan Desert to experience the charm of desert.

And in this route, Taklimakan desert, land of dearth, separated ancient China from Europe and Western Asia. In its 2000 years’ history, numerous merchants, caravans, wandering armies, and adventurers of our ancient civilizations, all have left their marks in this long road.
In this overland travel we will drive along the north edge of Taklimakan Desert to the unique Muslim city, Kashgar, and then we will drive along the south edge of Taklimakan Desert to experience the charm of desert, at End cross Desert’s heart from the incredibly paved desert high way.

D1 Arrive in Urumqi
In the morning we will fly to Urumqi, then we will check our vehicle in the afternoon.
D2 Urumqi /Kuerle (4WD Jeep , 365Km)
In the morning we will drive to Kuerle , in the road we will climb the high mountain of Baluntai.

In the morning we will fly to Urumqi, then we will check our vehicle in the afternoon.
D2 Urumqi /Kuerle (4WD Jeep , 365Km)
In the morning we will drive to Kuerle , in the road we will climb the high mountain of Baluntai.
D3 Kuerle /Kuche (4WD Jeep , 334Km)
Whole day we will drive along the north boarder of Takelimakan Desert. Along the road we will enjoy the unique Ugar villages and oasis. In the afternoon we will visit the Kuche Mosque.
D4 Kuche / Sanchakou (4WD Jeep , 474Km)
In the morning we will visit the grand Buddha grottoes in Kezier, then we will arrive in Arkesu.
D5 Sancakou /Kashgar (4WD Jeep , 279Km)
Whole day we will drive to Kashgar , in the road we will enjoy the scenes of Desert and oasis . Arrive in Kashgar in the late afternoon.
D6 Kashgar City Tours (4WD Jeep)
Kashgar is the most important station in the Silk Road, where we can find the culture with various characters of Arabian, Europe and China. Firstly we will explore the huge Mosques Aitikaer, and then we will visit the big Bazaar to do some bargain.
Whole day we will drive along the north boarder of Takelimakan Desert. Along the road we will enjoy the unique Ugar villages and oasis. In the afternoon we will visit the Kuche Mosque.
D4 Kuche / Sanchakou (4WD Jeep , 474Km)
In the morning we will visit the grand Buddha grottoes in Kezier, then we will arrive in Arkesu.

In the morning we will visit the silk factory and Jade market, and then continue to drive along the south silk road. Of course the culture of Ugar becomes more original.
D9 Mingfeng /Luntai (4WD Jeep Takelimakan Desert Cross , 603Km)
Today will be full of excitement. We will just drive through the heart of Takelimakan desert along the flat desert high way. It will be an amazing experience to cross the endless desert.
D10 Luntai /Turpan (4WD Jeep , 370Km)
Whole day we will drive to Turpan , an other key city in the ancient silk road . And it is also important center of Ugar culture in Xinjiang as Kashgar.
D11 Turpan City tours (4WD Jeep)
In the morning we will arrive in Turpan , which is an important station in ancient silk road. The ancient cities as Jiaohe and Gaochang had been in the ruins for long time, but the remains of city can still tell us their prosperity thousands years ago.
In the morning we will drive to Hetian, which is an important economic and cultural center in South Silk Road. And we will also visit the market of Yingjisa for the unique handcraft of knife.
