The happy join-in overland tour of Harry in October of 2014
Mr Harry from Holland booked his family the join-in China overland tour from Erlianhaote border to Mohan border in October in spring of 2014, and then the David family from France, the Jon family from Spain joined this overland tour group.
Mr Harry from Holland booked his family the join-in overland tour from Erlianhaote to Mohan in October in spring of 2014, and then the David family from France, the Jon family from Spain joined this overland tour group later, it totally reached 10 pax including 4 kids.
Just as planed, the group arrived at the boarder of China on Oct 15th 2014 in the morning from Mongolia. And the guide of China Exploration was waiting for them at the gate of China Boarder office with all of the necessary government documents completed, and everything was smoothly from the boarder to custom works, and they also received their temporal driving license and plates happily. The exciting china overland tour start on Oct 16th!
Their travel routes was from Mongolia to Beijing to visit the ancient ruin of Beijing， and then traveled down to Datong in north China, where they can visit the ancient Wutaishan temple, and then arrived at ancient Chinese capital of Xi’an city. And then visit the famous Jiuzhaigou, when was just the best time for watching the collorful forest , and arrived at Chengdu. After a few days’ break in Chengdu, and then they started their overland tour again to Yunnan province, Dali and Lijiang were the most famous tour attractions in Yunnan. And then they traveled further south to Mohan, the boarder of China with Laos.
Lovely lady Miss Yan was their tour guide. Yan had rich experience of leading overland tour in china, and this large group were very happy under her hand. It was a tour mixed with different family and countries, so it was reasonable that there were a few minor contraditions between each family at beginning, but they became mutual comprehensive very soon. And the staff of China Exploration also welcomed the group in Chengdu. “ everything is perfect “, they said.

We like to thank you for your help with the passport and the exit visum.
Everything went well at the border. Now we are in Nong Khiaw a nice place along the river in Laos. We take our rest.
Traveling in China was heavy because of the schedule and the traffic, especially in the cities. Nevertheless we liked the trip very much. Yan was a good guide and a nice person. Traveling with her was a pleasant experience.
