Once as the villa of Jiang Jieshi in Suzhou, Garden Hotel became the State Guest House in 1952, which has received over 100 Party and State leaders as well as leaders of foreign countries in the past 50 years, becoming a good example for receptions involving foreign affairs in Suzhou. In 2003, Jiangsu Guotai Group took over the hotel and brought in a new management concept. Garden Hotel Suzhou, grandly located in the south-east of the picturesque Suzhou city, with Surging Waves Pavilion Garden to its west, Master of Net Garden to the east, and the shopping street to the north, is featured by prosperous commerce and convenient traffic.
