The Larong Wuming Buddhism College in Seda is a young Buddhism institute within 30 years old. It was built in 1987 with the support of Panchen Lama in order to commemorate the 1st Dunzu Renboqie Living Buddha. And Wuming Buddhism college developed very fast with support from the Buddhist worldwide, and turned out to be the largest Buddhism college in the world with monks around 30,000. People’s heart is shocked by the grand view of temples and houses on the grassland.

Day 1 Chengdu – Ya’an ( 150km / 3 hours drive) (B/L/D)
After breakfast, let’s drive about 3 hours to Panda Breeding Research base in Bifengxia Wildlife park. In the Panda Garden you can see the lovely pandas making various funny movement in eating and playing, and here you will sign a contract of volunteer work with the Panda garden. And you can also do a mild hiking in one of the valley, to enjoy the delicate waterfall, stream etc…
In the late afternoon you will head for Shangli old town in half an hour’s driving. Shangli Old Town used to be important station during the trade of horse and Tea with Tibetan, but expressway have driven it from the busy traffic, now it is much quiet in the countryside as a good place for leisure, just relax, drinking tea, painting the old stone bridge, wooden house, etc.

Day 2 Ya’an – Shimian – Kangding ( 290km/ about 5 hrs drive) (B/L/D)
In the morning, drive via Shimian to Kangding. We will enter the big mountain area today, and we will see quite a few water power stations in the deep gorge. And the Dams changed the landscape greatly, lakes appeared frequently appeared in these area. In the afternoon, arrive in Kangding.
Today we will visit our first Tibetan monastery, Nanwu temple. And you can also free to walk around in this typical Tibetan town in the late afternoon.
Day 3 Kangding – Xinduqiao – Tagong – Danba ( 220km /4.5hrs drive)(B/L/D)
Today we will drive pass Zheduoshan pass (4298m). Then we will come to real Tibetan area. Continue driving to Xinduqiao, the paradise for photographer. Along the road, there are so many good chances for taking photo. Then drive to north to Tagong grassland. Wide Tagong Grassland, huge Tagong Monastery, and Snow peak of Mt. Yala, will show you another beautiful side of Tibetan plateau. In the afternoon, arrive in Danba county. And today we will take you to make a homestay in local Tibetan village.

Day 4 Danba – Bamei – Luhuo ( 235km / about 6 hrs drive ) (B/L/D)
Danba is famous for its beautiful Tibetan building and women. In the morning we will search beauty in the beautiful Tibetan village of Jiaju, the beautiful villages and Tibetan castle tower pile down from the half mountain. In the afternoon we will visit the Suopo village from the opposite bank of river to enjoy the panorama, which is famous for the Castle style watch tower. And we will also visit Huiyun Monastery in Bamei, which used to be refuge of the 7th Dalai Lama for 7 years, also the birth place of 11th Dalai Lama. After this, it is a 3 hours’ driving to Luhuo. And we will drop a visit in ancient Luhuo Monastery in the late afternoon.
Day5 Luohuo – Seda Larong Wuming Buddhism (300km/ about 4 hours drive) (B/L/D)
After breakfast, drive to Seda via Wongda, enjoy the Tibetan village en route, and arrive at Seda Larong Wuming Buddhism College in the afternoon. In the afternoon free to walk around in this largest Buddhism college in the world. Night in local guesthouse.

Day6 Seda / Rangtang / Markam (Driving 363 kms )
In the morning continue to visit the Wuming Buddhism College, and make a pilgrimage in this huge Buddhism kingdom. And you may have chance to watch the bloody site of celestial burial if people died there. In the afternoon we will drive to Rangtang county in 2 hours, enjoy the beautiful forest and grassland en route. And arrive at Markam in the late afternoon.
Day 7 Markam / Chengdu
Today we will drive to Chengdu via Lixiang and Wenchuan. Drop a visit in the Qiang people’s village en route. Arrive in Chengdu in the late afternoon.
