Namtuo lake is the biggest lake throughout Tibet with 4 hrs’ driving from Lhasa. Meanwhile, it is the highest altitude saltwater lake in the world. The water here is a storybook crystal-clear blue. Clear skies join the surface of the lake in the distance, creating an integrated, scenic vista. Soul of every visitor who has ever been here seems to be cleansed by the pure lake water. Besides the beautiful scenery in Namtso, it is also a famous sacred Buddhist place. There is a Zhaxi Temple in Zhaxi island. In every Tibetan year of sheep, thousands of Buddhism adherents will come here to worship. As a rule, they will walk clockwise along the Namtso Lake in order to receive the blessing of the gods
Itinerary:
D1 Arrive in Lhasa
Arrive in Lhasa.  Free activities in the afternoon to be acclimatized.  Visit to Barkhor Square Walk is recommended. 
D2 Lhasa City Tour ( Potala + Jorkang+Barkor street)
In the morning visit Potala Palace, and in the afternoon, visit Jorkang Temple.  Then spend some time shopping around Barkhor Square Street area.
D3 Lhasa City Tour ( Sera + Pabonka Monastery / Kora walk  )
In the morning explore Sera monastery.  We can do the Sera Kora walk of about 1 hr. Then visit Pabonka monastery, from Pabonka walk to Tashi Choling Hermitage to the main road also about 1 hr plus.
D4 Lhasa City Tour  - Drepung + Nechung Monastery / Kora walk  
In the morning visit Drepung Monastery, then Nechung Monastery.  Drepung Kora walks which climbs up to around 3900m and takes about 1.5 hr at a leisurely pace.  Hard core acclimatized hikers might want to consider the 3-hr climb up to a White Retreat perched high behind the monastery on the steep rock face of Gephel Ri, which offers spectacular views. 
D5 Lhasa – Namtso Lake (Tashi Do)  
In the morning drive to. After arrival, hiking around Namtso Lake. Night in local guesthouse. No shower facility. 
D6 Namtso Lake
Hiking around Tashi Do Monastery, Namtso Lake. Night in local guesthouse. No shower facility.
D7 Namtso Lake - Lhasa ( B )
In the morning continue to hiking around Namtso Lake, then drive back to Lhasa in the afternoon. Night in hotel ( 2*).
D8 Lhasa Departure
In the morning leave Lhasa. END of the tour.
