As the highest peak in the world, make a tour to Mt. Everest ( 29,035 feet / 8,850 meters ) had long been the challenge to nature lover. In this tour, you will travel from Lhasa to Everest,  and then travel down to Zhangmu boarder and exit to Kathmandu of Nepal. Of course, you can also travel from Kathmandu to Everest and then to Lhasa.


Schedule:
D1__ Arrive in Lhasa
Arrive in Lhasa by air or by train, meet your local guide and then transfer to hotel. Free in the afternoon to be acclimated. Night in Lhasa
D2__ Lhasa City Tours
The Potala Palace , the winter palace of former Dalai Lama, is the symbol of Tibet culture, so surely it will be in our visit today. You will enjoy the amazing wealth of Tibetan inside as well as its beautiful landscape outside. In the afternoon we will visit the ancient Jorkang Temple, and then enjoy the pleasure of bargaining in the Bazaar of Barkor Street. Night in Lhasa

D3__ Lhasa City Tours
Drive outside the city to Drepung Monastery in the morning, which was the largest monastery in the world with 10,000 resident monks in its peak. In the afternoon drop a visit in the Lhasa Tibetan Carpet factory. In the afternoon we will explore Grand Sera Monastery. If you are lucky enough, you can watch interesting Buddhism scripture debating by the monks. And we will also be guest in a local Tibetan family in the late afternoon. A Tibetan style dinner in Yak Restaurant and watching Tibetan dancing show in the evening will be the highlight of our trip! Night in Lhasa .
D4__ Lhasa /Gyantse / Shygatse 
Drive across the Ganbala Pass ( 4200m ) will be a challenge to our physical ability, but we will be rewarded by the overview of beautiful Yamdok Lake immediately. After enjoyed the grassland and yaks en route, we will arrive in Gyantse at noon, then we will visit the extremely beautiful Palgor Chorten (Kumbu Monastery).  In the late afternoon drive to Sygatse.

D5__ Shigatse /  Tingri
As the base of Panchen Lama, Shygatse was regarded as the business and political centre of back Tibet. The Grand Tashilunpo Monastery will show us again about the wealth and power of Tibetan Buddhism.  After a short time’s visit in monastery, we will drive to Tingri all the day.  
D6__ Tingri – Rongbuk Monastery – Tingri
Drive to the Rongbuk monastery in 2 hrs, visit the highest monastery in the world, and then we will continue to the base camp, where you will admire the highest peak in the earth.  You can hike up to the stone tablet of 5200 meter.  Return Tingri in the afternoon. 
D7__ Tingri / Zhangmu
Drive to the boarder of China and Nepal,Zhangmu port.
D8__  Zhangmu  Departure  
Cross the boarder to Kathmandu. END.
